Gigabyte GP-AG70S2TB Aorus Gen4 7000s 2TB M.2 2280 PCI-E 4.0 Solid State Drive - Sony PlayStation 5 Ready

Got this recently for the kids PS5. Product quality is amazing, Gigabyte did an superb job. Installation is really easy and then came the performance, transferred a massive game over to the SSD from internal storage and was speechless and the speed. I had to ask my son to check if the game still works as the transfer was done in less that 4 min. Highly recommend the product if you looking for a large capacity SSD for PS5.

Gigabyte did mention a firmware update for SSD for the PS5, I did read that if you don't do the firmware update it will impact speed of the SSD on your PS5. Its not the SSD but software, some research would have highlighted this. If using it on PC you would get what's advertised from the set go as long as its installed-on PCI Gen 4 slot, which you can see in your BIOS software :)

I, unfortunately, received a defect. I was getting between 4500mb/s and 5400mb/s on my PS5 which is below the required speeds. Wootware with their great service refunded it. But it does make me concerned about the quality control of the Aorus 7000s

This product works amazing and is incredibly fast. I used it for my PS5 and performed exactly as advertised. I will be purchasing this as soon as funds are available for my pc too.
