I don't have much to say but I can say this.... This screen surpassed all my expectations and MORE I did not expect quality of this kind in that price range.

Visually, it looks awesome. If it's your 1st time using a curved monitor, it'll be quite the experience. I have no complaints.
I have yet to try any serious gaming on this thing, but so far, video and static content is fine.

For a locally assembled product, this is really good. I think it's reasonably priced and though would've preferred a smaller sized 4K IPS display to use with my Xbox One X, I am satisfied with this 31.5-inch VA monitor.

SIDE NOTE:

One problem I encountered, was that my desktop PC, being connected to the monitor via DisplayPort, could not output a signal after the Windows boot up process. It seems that Intel HD 2000 integrated graphics cannot handle 1440p at 144hz. However, I found a way around this issue by using an HDMI-to-DisplayPort converter, to connect to the monitor's HDMI port instead. This means I was maxed out at 1080p at 60hz, thus allowing me to even use the monitor at all (time to buy a GPU now). I doubt many other people will experience this scare, as my computer is a bit old, but it's still something to take note of.

Coming from a 2013 model monitor, I literally have nothing to bad to say. Other than the built in speakers its incredible. Highly recommended if one is on a budget

After being skeptical about this thing, seeing the price that it was on sale for and desperation for a new monitor... I took the plunge and decided to do dome digging, not because of the price but because of the lack of reviews out there. I found mostly local places in ZA that sells this model for the non sale price of around R7500+ (sometimes) and with almost no reviews. So here I was in a dilemma, my 43" Phillips 4k monitor has said good bye and I need a new baby, but this time the wallet looks sad and i was willing to even settle with a 27"

I know what 120hz feels like thanks to my work desk 24" Samsung gaming monitor from back in the day (poor thing) and I know what 60hz feels like thanks to my 43" 4k pc monitor that died and said no more. So here's my review so far, ill start with what everyone asks first and then go in to details

--- Display: When initially plugged in and boot. the display is quite dull. Changed a setting or two and it was like a night and day difference. I set the picture mode to game and the color temp was set to cool. Voila, a picture that looks nice, crisp and colors are good. At the end of the day the colors are nice and bright but a 32" R15k OLED monitor will out shine this unit BUT dont get me wrong, the display is very VERY good and even better considering the price. There's a Game/FPS mode that seems to switch off all the energy saving and eco modes, makes the screen even more vibrant. Ill stick to the normal Game setting due to liking a lower brightness and being able to set the settings individually which Game/FPS mode doesnt allow you to do.

There's a blue light filter in it. Viewing angles are good and everything is pretty much what you would expect from a normal monitor. FreeSync is there and HDR too although HDR according to Windows is uncertified or maybe it shows that because i didnt buy the stupid video codec windows 11 wants

Only gripe I can see here and (I don't even use the feature, so no stress) is there's an aim reticle built in which looks like a 1995 dos game gun scope smacked on to the screen. If this feature is a must for you then please don't bother

--- Packaging: The panel is packed tightly, its a struggle to get it out but with lots of gentleness and shimmying you can get it out of the packing foam. Which means that it will survive a playground full of kids playing soccer with the boxed unit and will still work 100% afterwards. Maybe better because of the flexing it will do afterwards like the winner of a strongman comp

--- Stand: The stand is solid metal, it looks like cheap plastic in the pictures and even the guys at Wootware said its lightweight. Nah fam, this is a solid unit of a stand, you can beat any intruder in your house with it if needed. It should be classified as a weapon. My only gripe is that the stand is a bit big and you will need a proper desk for it, not the R1000 joppie you got from game or makro, luckily that was not my issue, but will buy a proper VESA mount for it come future to save some real-estate

--- Ports: Audio in, USB, 2x Display ports, and 1 HDMI port nothing fancy here

--- Refresh Rate: 144hz on HDMI and 165hz on Display port

--- Looks: No shiny plastics, thank goodness fingerprint smudges are a thing of the past on the frame now, everything from the stand to the display non glossy and looks solid. The unit looks good and has some RGB lights at the back, though not very bright, its something. I turned it off immediately. The frame is thin-ish, theres thin plastic on the sides but, there's about an 8mm border around from screen to bezel so its not ultra thin or frameless per se

--- Sound: YES, there's speakers. Lets not comment on quality, get a 2.1 or 5.1 speaker set rather. You will save some sanity here and thank me later

--- OSD: ok... here's a flaw that I can deal with because of the cheap price and this is clearly how they got the price down. The OSD buttons are at the back, hard to navigate and you will hit the power button during setting changes more times than a 13 year old hitting like on tiktok. That aside, the settings you change once and that's it, so its a livable flaw. Trick was to put 4 fingers on the buttons that count and not move them around else you will hit the loadshedding button and will have to start over

--- Gaming: So far so good. After hitting 111fps in Car Mechanic Sim, 96 fps in God of War and unknown on Stray. The games look good and the frames are nice, colors are good and details is good. Not much to say here apart from... I'm impressed

Issues: So far NONE, no backlight bleeding I can see, colors are correct after a few setting tweaks, gamma is correct and no dead pixels

Conclusion: Get it if you are strapped for cash. Get it if you are a normal 5-11pm gamer. Get it if you need a good overall screen that wont break the bank. Its no eSports monitor with Ninja pasted all over the thing. But its a good monitor with a good size and will probably last you for many years to come. I have a good feeling about this one. Should anything change I will update the Wootware peoples and update the review. But overall I am SUPER impressed

Pros:

Good specs for the price. 1440p, 165hz , 32" at R4800.

10 bit colour so supports HDR

Freesync support

Cons:
It's VA so black response times are slow and you'll see black smearing for anything dark. Also when moving around windows you'll see visible blur trails.

Pixel overdrive doesn't do anything. I tried the different overdrive modes and I see no difference in the ufotest. With freesync without freesync at different refresh rates and with hdr and off. Nothing

So overall. It's a decent display but because it's a VA panel it has slower response times than IPS displays.

My thoughts:

Everything is good but the one downside is that it's a VA panel so the response times changing from pure black is slow. So there's black smearing. If that's a problem for you. Don't buy this monitor. Other than that. It's decent
