- XPG 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe Solid State Drive - Sibusiso, 25 March 2025
Solid performance drive. Descent speeds and thermals on a stock heat sink. I decided to use the heatsink provided on the motherboard and thermals are down by at least 5 degree celsius.
- XPG Gammix S50 Core 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD - Mpho, 29 November 2024
I was little bit worried about the speed of Adata XPG Gammix S50 compared to Samsung 980 Pro, but based on its spacs, it appears similar if not a bit better than most PCIe Gen3 SSDs, The Gammix S50 Lite supports a large dynamic SLC cache to absorb inbound write requests, but write performance will degrade quite a bit when the cache fills.
I can say not only does it offer potential buyers the speed and reliability they want, but also optional hardware-accelerated security support when needed.
- Decently fast - Jiahao, 1 November 2024
Good read speed when used with Ubuntu for machine learning especially with large images. Decent write speed and shouldn't be a problem for most uses. Runs between 40 to 50 degrees with the provided heat sink. Overall good budget nvme for its price.
