- GREAT CARD! - Muhammed, 27 April 2023
here is my experience within a week and half.
SOUND:
if you want a quiet system this card is not for you, it is loud with a max rpm of 3500.
the ramping up isn't as loud as other cards.
THERMALS:
below 75% usage you can expect 35C TO 45C.
at 100% a max of 51 to 54c which is up to 16C cooler on average than the 3000 series
the fans for some reason have a min lock of 30%
it has dual exhaust so one is putting out air towards the glass the other towards the mobo ensure good circulation.
12pwr connector means no recycled hot air.
PERFORMANCE:
due to the lower temps, I've seen clocks as high as 2900 meaning even at bottleneck of 1440P I am getting the same stable frames.
so far i ran clocks locked and fps locked with no drops on the card side.
if you concerned with inverter usage this card when dropped to 1440P can often run at an average wattage of 180 wats vs 390 at 4K meaning i have seen 120-180watts less than my 3080 TI at 1440p
360 3080 TI vs 4090 450 watts much better consumption than the 3000 series
SIZE:
this card is massive, I recommend a 5000D or higher as anything smaller and the card blocks almost two entire fans.
the bar gpu support bracket isn't ideal here it's better to get the stand bracket as the space between each fan allows for those kind of support brackets.
two would be best to even the load but one works as well.
if you are running more than one nvme I suggest solidifying into one as putting in more requires pulling out the entire gpu
if you plan to use the other pcie slots you will not be able to as this card covers all
LOOKS:
this is very unique and looks better in person then the pictures.
great minimalistic rgb
only annoying thing is that every startup it will signal you the type of bios it's on
