This Mac Mini M4 is to date the best investment that I made in Apple products. Its an excellent machine, future proof for a number of years, portable and my new desktop. My Apple ecosystem increased significantly with this purchase. I recommend it.

Great little machine. It’s incredibly quiet, almost shockingly so if you’re used to the noise of a desktop tower or that high-pitched laptop whine. It also sips power, using only 2-3 watts on idle and basic use. For my use cases, like music production, video editing, light productivity, and programming, it’s quite capable. I’ve heard it handles 3D modelling and rendering well, but I haven’t tried those. If you’re interested in gaming, consider other options or research and see if you will be content with the limited Mac library. It handles emulation well, so you can play all of your retro catalogue without problem.

Avoid it in situations where you need to use your personal machine for work, as certain Windows exclusive apps won’t run. I’ll leave it to you to research those.

Oh, and the integrations with iPhone are very handy, if you happen to have one of those.

By far the cheapest way to get into the Mac ecosystem. M4 chip is efficient and powerful enough for any coding task. The extra 8Gb of memory that the base model now comes with makes a hug difference for multi-tasking (had an 8Gb Macbook Pro before this). Support for 3 displays is also nice. As usual, great experience ordering from Wootware.

Brilliant, best, cheapest Mac I've had for many years. Everything just works - monitors, microphone, external storage etc when plugged in, and you can use your own - and enough ports, hated the 2 x USB C on my old MacBook Pro. By far the most cost-effective and effective entry to Mac ecosystem, so happy to leave Windows behind again.

Absolutely no buyers remorse. For a base model this m4 Mac Mini is incredible. The ability to run a 3rd screen is also a selling point amongst other selling points. And of course, nothing beats the Apple operating system.

It's quick. Apps work well. No problems with this little gem. I'm running on a 1440p utra-wide monitor and still very smooth. Don't expect to play games in 4K with ultra settings, that's not what this is for. But for medium to light workloads whether it be video or sound editing, or 3D design, the value proposition/ price-to-value ratio is incredible. I recommend that you pay another grand to take the 2 additional years extended warranty which I also purchased from Wootware. As for Wootware, the service was great. They gave quick responses to my queries and delivery was quick.
