I have no complains about this Dell S2421HN monitor it is a great product so far.

Pros
- 2 HDMI ports which is great since VGA is outdated
- Decent specifications for the price
- Monitor Looks great
- A bit pricy because for 1K more you could get 24Inch, 165 HZ, 1ms Response time monitor.

Cons
- No height adjustment which isn't great since the monitor isn't cheap. Even a small height adjustment would have been great.
- No Display Port port for those who only have a display port open (This should not be a big issue)

I got this monitor over 2 years ago, and I've not had one problem or gripe whatsoever, and I see it's had a significant drop in price, so if a 1080p monitor is sufficient for your use case, this purchase is a no brainer, good colour and contrast, I am very happy, and I even dabble in games and it's been absolutely fine.

This is a rare case of very good value for money.

I recently broke my old monitor and was unsure if I should purchase this one or not but I eventually decided to do it. This monitor is one of the best monitors I have ever purchased. This quality is out of this world for the price of the monitor. Great monitor overall.

The Dell S2421HN 24 inch monitor is of a modern and elegant design easy to setup, easily customisable and with excellent clarity. What I especially appreciate is the anti-glare screen it really makes a difference. The included HDMI cable and power cord is a welcome bonus. The size of this monitor and the Aspect Ratio makes for comfortable viewing. I love this monitor and will, without a doubt recommend this monitor.

A friend sent me the link to this deal and boy what a treasure! The monitor is elegant, easy to set up, and looks stunning as part of my office space. It's perfect for my needs and has great quality imaging. I especially liked the AFFORDABLE pricing options for delivery AND the speed at which it all happened. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

This monitor has a VESA mount and beautiful colours - which were both important to my purchasing decision. The monitor and its display looks beautiful while mounted on my NB F80 monitor arm. I love this setup!

I bought this almost a year ago and it's still looking very sexy.

For me obviously it would since I come from an old TN panel. The colours are great. Sure you get freesync and 75Hz and whatever, but if you want a proper gaming montor don't be stingy and rather double your budget. In terms of picture quality it's as good as any other 1080p screen, just better colour (really noticeable if you like digital artworks).

Thanks to Wootware, they have not let me down to date, unlike some other companies......(cough*Evetech*).

As regards shipping, don't use fedex if you can help it, in short: another disappointment.

This is a decent monitor for the price paid (R1999.00) and should serve my needs well. The text and images are nice and sharp and colour reproduction seems decent. It is an IPS panel so viewing angles are good, and contrast is sharp from most angles. Unfortunately the power cable is too thick to pass through the cable management hole on the stand, so it looks a little messy as there are no places to route the cables through.

I already have a large 165Hz display, but needed something decent as a secondary display for work and study. I also have this unique need to use the screen vertically for certain documents and my electronic study material and what drew me to this one is the VESA mounting option which allowed me to do exactly that.

Besides that, it is a great Full HD panel at 75Hz, which is a nice bonus especially if you consider the cost. This is a great budget orientated screen for bother work and gaming. It also looks pretty sleek with nice and thin bezels. Also have 2 HDMI ports if that is something you need, though I would've like a DP port on it, but I suppose that is what you get for the price.

Overall, pretty solid value for money.

really good value for money, if you are looking at the 24" screens, 75Hz with the vesa mount..no speakers and display port so if these are major factors for you, look at other monitors..overall its inexpensive good quality monitor..

Great purchase. Build quality is much sturdier than I thought it would be. Colours are wonderful and the 75 frame refresh rate is awesome for casual gaming. Would recommend for the price.

It does what it needs to do and does it well.
Looks great aesthetically.
Limited display connection options for the price.
Nice screen tilt adjustability.
No hight adjustability though.
Easy to use & understand screen button interface.
Easy to set up.
Build quality would be just slightly under premium.
But more than good enough at the price point.
It blew my expectations.

Only niggles I had was the power kettle cord that fed straight into the backside of the monitor.
A first for me.
I searched the box for an adapter for about 10mins,couldn't find it and rtfm'd.
The manual clearly showed the kettle power cord plugs into the back,but since the assembly of the monitor was so easy to setup, I never bothered to look at said manual.

It is paired with an Amd R 5 1600 af system that can do 1080p gaming on high settings at 45-55 fps on pretty much any new game bar Cyberpunk.
But its highly doubtfull it will ever display any game ever as its the general use home pc for mailing,browsing and some lite office work.

But knowing I can watch 4k you tube videos at 1080p at 60 fps that looks insanely good is the only test I needed for what I bought it for.
Being able to game on it is just an added bonus.

For a budget pc gaming build,go for it.
Just check those display connections beforehand for your gpu.
For office use.
No clue,only issue I foresee is the same as the gaming pc.

As always Woodware delivered in 5 star fashion albeit with no external packing other than the monitor box itself.
I was a tad disconcerted with this but after opening everything up all was in order.

The IPS panel and a 75Hz refresh rate with free-sync make it perfect for casual gaming and daily use.

The build quality does feel a little flimsy. The monitor has a acceptable stand that is not height adjustable. There are no vesa mounting holes to attach monitor stands. For the ‘entry-level’ market this product is aimed at, this is not a concession.

The S2421HN has great colour reproduction due to the IPS panel. Unfortunately the IPS drawback is that pixel settings are best left on 'Normal' response times as 'Fast' & 'Extreme' induce horrible ghosting effects.

2 x HDMI ports is an odd configuration. Including a Display Port option would have been better users running multiple displays.

At the on sale price of R2199.00 this monitor is a good value for money as a first purchase or replacement. It is not ‘Upgrade’ material unless 720p is still being used. At the standard price of R3499.00 the product quality would not be proportional to the overall cost.

For a Dell monitor I would have expected a little more forethought and value.

You can't really ask for more from a monitor, especially at this price point.

Pros
Nice picture quality and good colour accuracy with quite a few presets to choose from
Thin bezels make it very pleasant
There is no backlight bleeding that I noticed
Ips glow feels minimal


Cons
The biggest issue is the ghosting that occurs on the fast and extreme setting on some games. Luckily this doesn't occur on the normal setting.
No tilt or swivel
It lacks a bit in contrast in comparison to a VA panel

The screen is beautiful and great quality. I love the thin edges allowing for less "empty" space around the screen. Picture quality is amazing and the size is perfect for me.

Wootware's packaging asside... This is probably one of the best monitors you'll find in this price range... Adding to the fact that it's a 2020 model, and a good one at that.. IPS, AMD's FreeSync ... A perfect balance between gaming and Work... I'm satisfied with the purchase.

4 stars because the packaging wasn't exactly the best but it did arrive sooner than expected so I'll give em that... Plus it's only been a few days having this baby. If I had to buy this again I definitely would.
