- Simple, contained - Fredrik, 11 August 2021
A contained piece of kit that requires one connection to the MB headers, as the fans are driven from headers on the radiator. The mounting hardware is nice and solid, although the backplate under the CPU is plastic. would prefer metal.
- Its cool ( get it! ) but... - Shahil, 12 July 2021
Pros
- So far its keeping my temps cool. 5900x on load at around 60 and idle around 30 ( It's winter now)
- Looks great
- Has the manual slider for Auto and PWM modes.
- Extendable
- So far quiet
Cons
- OH MAN!! This one is probably a deal breaker if you planning to mount this in the front of your case on an ATX at least and with a lower pump option and not planning to extend your cooling. The pump tubes go directly on the pump! This was a huge battle for me to mount as the length of the tubes are just enough ( uncomfortably with the horizontal GPU fitting ). Would have been better with the tubes on the side of the pump as those have some flexibility in angles. I guess to make it extendable they designed it this way.
- Would have been nice to have the 'Auto' or 'PWM' modes lit up on the pump to indicate which it is currently on. - Super cool - Rudi, 10 June 2021
Absolute UNIT of a AiO, keeping CPU temperatures at an all time low, with absolute no fan noise or water bubbling within the radiator, no RGB means its great for a "stealth" build, easy to install with an extra screw or two for incase you loose one.
- Keeps my 5800x cool - Phillip, 5 May 2021
Its quiet, its cool its stealthy. It also comes with some pretty great fans, and the wiring is a dream. Note that the AMD socket mount for these coolers is finicky if you're used to Intel. Just take it slow and it will work just fine.
- Fractal Design FD-WCU-CELSIUS-S24-BKO - Ben, 28 March 2021
Really great cooler, not that the user manual only has images and not much text but it is very easy to install. Seeing better temps than what the stock cooler the AMD 5600X came with.
- Great cooler even for mainstream CPUs - Daniël, 24 February 2021
I’ve been using one of these on my R5 3600 for about seven months now and it’s really great. It may be a little overkill for this CPU, but that results in it being practically inaudible even at full load. The only time I ever hear it is after a while of having both the CPU and GPU at load, since I have it mounted on the top of my case blowing out. I have it set to the default auto mode, since this has the cooler adjust its own fan speeds based on the coolant temperature, which is how an AIO’s fans are supposed to work.
It’s also a strikingly clean look with very little cable management needed. There is a fan hub on the radiator, right next to the fans, and the cable powering it is hidden underneath the braiding on one of the pipes. If you mount the fans such that their cables are hidden behind them, this leaves one single visible cable, that being the 4-pin cable going to the motherboard (it doesn’t use SATA like some other AIOs do). And even that cable can be partially hidden if the motherboard’s CPU VRM heatsinks are in the right place or shape. - Edit/update to previous - Will, 25 January 2021
Missed the most important part!
- runs a 5Ghz OC'd 10700K at 30-32 idle and 68 under load
- relatively quiet idle and under moderate usage
- fans ramp up to around 2950 RPM under load on PWM mode set in BIOS with custom fan curves
- +1: works flawlessly with Intel Socket LGA 1200 - Nightfall - Stealth - Will, 25 January 2021
This was my first AIO after using a trusted push/pull CM Hyper 212 Evo for years on a previous build.
I was looking for a non-RGB AIO to match the theme of my blackout build and this was perfect.
- Easy cable/wiring management (has built-in fan hub for the 2x fans) and then runs 1 PWM connector onto a header
- two modes are hardware based so no need to install additional software to control fan speeds (I just set mine on PWM mode on the pump and adjust fan curves in BIOS)
- excellent build quality (Asetek are the OEMs so this is the real deal)
10/10 would buy a Fractal AIO on the next future build - Quite and efficient - Prega, 25 January 2021
Just installed this and it's made a massive difference from the Intel stock cooler. Temps dropped about 15 to 20 degrees playing games during the current heat wave. Highly recommended.
- Cool, Quiet and worth it - Raymond, 21 January 2021
Paired this AIO with a 5600x which is not the hottest part, but it gets the job done perfectly while being a relatively "cheap" AIO. My CPU is sitting around 40 degrees C while idle and 60 degrees under load which I am more then happy with. The total noise in my system has also been reduced loads over the stock cooler which is an added benefit.
- Excellent product if you looking non easy installation, cool temps and no lighting. - Brad, 14 December 2020
I recently purchased the Phanteks TC12Dx air cooler, found temps dropped from 85 degrees under load to 69 at max load on the 5800x using Factual S24. Its really easy to install and NEXUS gamers doesn't know how to cable route the fans, really easy to manage and hide. SET to PWM mode, connect to fan port and never tinker/ fiddle with the cooler again.
great product if you dislike RGB and lights.
- Cooler works really well. - Timothy, 16 September 2020
This cooler works really well. Nice and easy install. Only one connection.
CPU stays cool. Even under heavy load i7 10700k reaches max temp of 60 degrees Celsius.
Fans are also silent.
Very happy. - Cool product "Pun intended" - Clifford, 17 June 2020
This is my first AIO and I was a little sceptical, but it has done wonders for my computer, before this upgrade my CPU temps were hovering around 90C and now they back down to under 50C. Should have used this sooner.
Was super easy to install. - Super-cooling - Anthony, 18 March 2020
I got one of these for my R5 3600. Completely overkill. But inaudible at full CPU load with all cores boosting to full.
These AIO coolers have some of the best fans around. The kit itself is really easy to install and is of a really high quality.
