Intel i7-4790K 4 GHz BX80646I74790K Quad Core + Hyperthreading Unlocked 22nm Haswell (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Desktop CPU

Product got to me in a week. Packaged well, ordered with my motherboard (Asrock z97-Extreme4) and case (Fractal Design Core 2300).

CPU was priced very well. Performs as expected at stock speeds, which is all I need until I get some better cooling, then I will attempt some overclocking. CPU hits 4.4Ghz on all cores, after unlocking the restriction with Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility.

Intel's potato(4600) on-board graphics performs okay and is an improvement on the 3000 I was using before. No problem with full HD (1080p) videos and plays Dota 2 on lowest settings @ 1080p very well.

Generally good CPU all round. Well worth the money when coming from a laptop i5 @ 2.5Ghz Intel CPU.

Does what it should and really made a Hugely noticeable performance increase from the Quad Core Q6600 that i was using prior to this, haven't overclocked it yet but looks set too be a monster of a processor for a long time to come
