- Reliable, but not exeptional. - Heinrich, 11 June 2025
There should be an option for 3.5 stars. It's robustly built with a strong USB port. Firmly slides in and out, so it won't easily wear out. Somewhat bulky, might not do justice with very thin notebooks or tightly packed USB hubs. I only buy Kingston, never had any of their flash drives fail on me. Previous reviewer complained about speed performance. You get what you pay for, it's not a miracle.
I did do a synthetic speed test, results below.

I have bought both the 64GB and two of the 128GB of this brand and model. The 64GB works as intended in its write speeds but both this 128GB fails on its write speed. It loops up and down in its speed and is inconsistent which then increases transfer times, doubling its write time and sometimes more. The read speed is still fine but that's provided if you have things on the flash drive to read in the first place.
TLDR: Avoid buying the 128GB, Write speeds are inconsistent of file sizes bigger than 1GB.
