The product arrived earlier than expected and does what it is supposed to do. This SSD outperforms the 2,5" variant I replaced my a big margin. Very happy with the Wootware service as always.

Honestly, the device was easy to install and seems to work as intended, but...
After installing it my PC has been giving me various troubles.
Things like the RAM suddenly being limited to 4GB even though i didn't touch my RAM during the installation at all. I also didn't move my OS or change anything related to it (just using the new drive for storage purposes) so this was quite odd indeed.
Another odd occurrence that started happening after I installed the new drive is that my restart and shut-down times now take forever once again for no apparent or obvious reason.

It's likely that these issues are moreso caused by my own inabilities than the product itself, but all I did was slide the SSD into place and screw it down...

Wasn't expecting it to only have 465GB of usable space (I know drives usually have less free space than advertised, but 35GB is quite a chunk!)
Other than that, it was quick and easy to install.

Bought this SSD back in December of 2019 and it's been giving absolutely zero issues, even now heading into April 2022. Solid quality for an extremely decent price. A definite recommend!

This drive sped up my 6 year old desktop in the stratosphere. Boots and everything running in less than 10 seconds. Me typing the password is the slowest part of the process. Cannot ask for more to be honest. And it is the best value for money out there for this part. Delivery was also done within 1 day. Unbelievably more efficient than their competitors. Bought 2 of them in fact for my motherboard can support two. So one for gaming installations and one for system software installations. Keep up the good work Wootware.

This SSD is really fast. Since its 500GB I Installed Warzone, Rocket League, CS:GO and a few other applications, there is currently 320GB left, which is alot since I don't do stuff like YouTube video editing or Adobe Premiere. When I open up Warzone or any other app, it open's within 15 seconds. If you're on a budget and looking for a SSD that has alot of storage space and is fast AND affordable look no further then this is for you. Wootware you guys are now my go-to place for buying computer hardware!! WOOT WOOT

Purchased two Helix-L SSD's and replaced the old 5400RPM drives in to two laptops of different manufacture/specs. Even thou one of the laptops didn't allow for more than 500Mb/s sequential write speed (apparently to due to hardware/bios/design limitations of that particular laptop), the drive yielded over 1,500Mb/s (read speed) on both. HUGE (perceptual) difference in using both laptops!! Very impressed With the Helix-L and won;t hesitate to purchase again as long as the price is good as it currently is :-)

Using this as a boot and main drive at the moment, and boy does my pc boot fast! Read and write speeds are really good. Even though it's on the budget side, it performs really well!

went from a sata 240gb ssd to this. Might be placebo affect but I feel i could still notice the increase in reduced load times, so very happy! For example, in ARK survival evolved the caves/locations need to be loaded in when approached, which usually causes stutters and lag until the textures/map loads and pops in...not on this. zero lag, smooth transition.

You'd definitely be hard pressed to find an NVMe with comparable R/W speeds for the same price. I had to RMA my first one, due to some BIOS issues, but Wootware's excellent customer service completely made up for it. Best in the biz, for sure!
Why not five stars? Well, it has to do with that incessant red LED that blatantly clashed with my build aesthetic. If it could be turned off, that'd be a solid five stars in my book. For now, I had to make do with some handy duct tape to cover it up ;-).

An excellent ssd decreased my boot times from 20 seconds 8.4

NVMe SSD is definitely faster than SATA SSD, it boots the computer alot quicker, I got 1200+ MB/s read speed, but write speed of the this SSD is however slower than expected, only managed to achieve around 500MB/s.

This is my 2nd purchase of this NVMe and its extremely good value for the money!!
No problems at all installing an using the hard drive. I would highly recommend this.

Awesome product, amazing speeds and exactly when it needed as a main/windows drive.

My startup times are faster than with my old Samsung SATA. Crystalbench gives me the advertised speeds, and I'm very happy.

This is a must in a PC or Laptop in 2020. This is not PCIe 4.0 but for the price PCIe 3.0 is good enough. It works with the laptop and its smooth blindingly fast feel to it.

I'm happy with this product. It's smaller than an 2.5 inch ssd and is efficiently fast.
It's easy to install and very convenient.

I may order more of this in future!

This SSD arrived with a set of other products I purchased at the same time. All were delivered in good condition within 3 or 4 days and are functioning as expected. Very good shopping experience all round.

I was sceptical about getting a nvme over my current samsung evo 850 but I am pleasantly surprised.The drive is noticeably faster especially on boot up, login and game loading.
With hard drive pricing set to drop I hope to get a pcix gen 4 one as I have a Gigabyte B550.
Kudos to Wootware with their always on point service and delivery.

This little chip works great, fasts transfer speeds and great for running my operating system and main files, it boots up in no time. Awesome transfer speeds for my games, I couldn't ask for better for the price.

I'm always blown away by Wootware! I sent support a query to double check if this SSD would be compatible with my motherboard and within 2 hours they emailed me back WITH a helpful, friendly response that didn't leave me feeling like an idiot (like some of their competitors). My order was shipped the very next day which is unheard of generally but especially during COVID. The hardware itself was affordable and has greatly improved the performance of my PC.

This is an excellent drive, especially considering the price. I was able to achieve the advertised speeds using CrystalDiskMark.

This is my first NVME/PCIE device, and even though it's the basic entry level, it's still 3 times faster than the best SATA based SSD.

Totally worth it for your OS/boot drive.
