- Power Effecient and DLSS - Matthew, 24 December 2024
Bought this card because I upgraded to a 1440p display. My choices were the 7800 XT, 7900 GRE or the 4070 Super. I got the 4070 Super because I've of its power efficiency, RT performance and DLSS upscaler. None of these have disappointed me. The 4070 Super is the most expensive out of the 3 cards and not even the fastest in rasterization but the extra features are definitely worth it. DLSS is far superior than even the latest FSR 3.1 and that alone makes this card worth spending the extra cash over the RX 7800 XT or RX 7900 GRE
- Good cost vs Performance. - Hugo, 13 October 2024
Used in a portable Resolume Arena playback setup. Perfect for the job pushing 1x4k and 3x 1080.
Not disappointed but will probably look a more premium card next time as the cooling has no copper. It weighs half of what the MSI 1070 weighs it replaced…
We will see how reliable it is over the long run. - Power hourse - AJ, 18 September 2024
I Was looking at a solid card to use on my LG TV. It's an absolute beast. Better than expected. Great choice if you have a 1440p monitor.
Runs 4k at Meduim on Wukong Black Myth which is impressive to say the least. - Amazing card for mid end PCs!!! - Lucah, 14 August 2024
Very powerful for 1080p gaming, probably more suited for 1440p.
I primarily use the card for ArchViz. Could do with some more VRAM, especially considering it's price, but it's more than adequate for the small to medium scale scenes I work with - Insane Performance Upgrade - Nicky, 4 June 2024
I needed to upgrade my ageing GTX1070 and decided to go 4070S and I was not disappointed. This Palit 4070S is well built, mind you it's all plastic design, But the Plastic is well made. The card is not too big and fits neatly into my Phanteks P400S case, with enough room. The performance is great, this card runs cool and quiet. I hardly hear the fans spin up. The 4070S is impressive, in Cyberpunk 2077 with full RT with path ray tracing at 1080p I'm getting 135 - 140 fps, considering with my 1070 I was playing this game on medium to low (no RT) settings and getting 45 - 50 fps—big upgrade. I still have to test all my other games, though I'm sure the performance upgrade will be as big. Next, I need to upgrade my monitor, and the only place I will check is wootware, Their service and pricing are second to none. Thanks wootware for the speedy delivery.
- Happy Camper - Obsidian, 13 March 2024
Impressed with the power of this card, went from a 2060 to the 4070 super, and now i can play everything on ultra with raytracing above 60 fps, and finally my VR games so smooth and pretty now
- One of the only good value propositions in current-gen GPUs - Vincent, 22 February 2024
The RTX 4070 Super is a relatively good value when you consider its price to performance ratio and CUDA cores, which make it appealing to gamers (1440p high refresh rate or 4K60fps gamers in particular) as well as to creatives. This Palit model is perhaps the cheapest available in South Africa and is well-made. Spending more for a different manufacturer's model makes little to no sense.
The card runs quiet and relatively cool, especially undervolted. Would recommend. If you don't need CUDA though, you can consider a Radeon RX 7800XT for similar performance. - Great upgrade 6 Years later - Rikus, 20 February 2024
So I upgraded to this card from an Radeon RX580 that I used for 6 years. It was time to upgrade my Rig and this was my choice. And I am not looking back. It is a fantastic card and I am ready to use this for the next 6 years, maybe even longer. Also looks great in my build with no overbearing RGB lighting. Just enough that you notice it installed. I would recommend this card to anyone.
- Good card if you use frame generation - Erin, 31 January 2024
So I bought this card as an upgrade to my RTX 2060. At first I was a bit surprised that the performance didn't improve as much as I had expected, until I realized that in some of those games I was using to check performance, I was CPU limited. What really surprised me was in games like The Finals, that support frame generation, I was able to 3x my Frame rate. I would recommend the card for those that play games that support DLSS 3 and frame generation but not for those that don't.
