I have a 4 year old 4 antenna router from another brand that is cheaper than this which I use as a wireless access point which has better range. Even my 8 year old router with a built in antenna that came with the ISP has better range. And i find this to be a trend with Ubiquiti, their Wifi devices have disappointing range for the price. The only reason I still give it 4 stars is because it conveniently sets up from you ubiquity interface. Compared to the other devices it is a pleasure to setup and configure.
