The RX7900gre is so far the best gpu i have bought, this thing doesnt struggle with RT 1440p 144hz on raster!!

The frame gen is fantastic, double frames for double smoothness and double antialiasing quality.

The amd adrenaline software is amazing compared to nvidias geforce experience and i actually want it installed lol.

The fans are stupidly fast, it feels like im sitting next to a leaf blower and the card is very very long, so get ready with a large case.

I would recommend this card for 4k/1440p performance! Best price/frame in south africa.

If you are going the 260W TDP route, there's no better deal. Make sure to pair it with a strong CPU (5600x -5800X3D). Some of my benchmarks doubled some trippled (coming from a 2060 Super). I'm done with Nvidia.

Originally I was going to go with the RX 7800 XT, but this was only a fraction more so I decided to go for it. So far I have not been disappointed with the performance as I have been able to run everything I play on the highest settings with no issues. One comment though is that I do wish the card came with an anti-sag bracket as the card is quite long and the tail end has some weight.

Amazing GPU, the new AFMF 2 released on the 1st of October 2024 has increased the frames even more on any game.

In terms of raw power to cost this GPU is amazing. Im running a 1440p 165hz ultrawide display and this GPU handles it without an issue, I can effectively max out all the settings and forget about it. The cooler on this card is amazing as well, never seen it go above 60C in game and hovers around 33C when idle, just remember to disable Zero-RPM.

The only real issue is an AMD issue as a whole, their drivers are very hit or miss. As an example the latest driver released first week of September causes dark areas of Wukong to be pitch black if lighting is set to medium or higher and even AMD acknowledged it's a driver issue. So be prepared for a not so smooth experience sometimes.

Toyed with the idea of going red again and I was not disappointed. Massive bump in my FPS & Quality (1440P). Out of the box performance is great and I have not had any need to tweak anything.

Price for performance is awesome!

This is easily the best value for money card in SA right now. The performance is somewhere between a 4070 Super and 4070 Ti. Raytracing performance is weaker than RTX cards though, so be aware if you want that feature. For normal rendering this card is unbeatable value - this particular AIB card often boosts up to or beyond boost clocks (core & memory) as advertised while gaming, bringing it even closer to the XT model in performance. One gripe is very loud coil whine during high performance, I had a 6000-series XFX card and it had the same problem, so I assume it is common with this brand.

Just recently bought this GPU.Great price!it Was delivered as promised without any fault. I'm building a 1440p gaming pc and this should be more than enough, and will be getting more of my pc components from wootware.

So far so good - first time AMD card. Excellent frame rates on almost all games, only struggling with unoptimized new releases like Ark Ascended and does not do too well with ray tracing. Other than that, superb actually and do not see the need for ray tracing above this great performance. Good value for money imo.

This graphics card is fantastic! Highly recommended for anyone playing on 1440p. Drivers was easy to install, and it runs most AAA games on ultra settings at around 100 fps.

Great GPU with plenty RAM, works perfectly for my needs which include video, photo editing and design. Wootware service is some of the best that I have experienced - products were dispatched timeously.

I switched to Linux recently, full-time, following Microsoft's ridiculous antics with Recall. I knew immediately that I would need to abandon Nvidia for AMD as the experience would be much better, so I swapped out my 4070 Super for this. So far performance in most games I play is just fine at 1440p UW and I am very happy with the Linux compatibility. I'm docking a star simply because of how gigantic the card is - it feels quite unnecessary and made it troublesome to install even in a full ATX case.

If you are looking for good raw price to performance - this is a really good option. Tough choice between this and the 4070 super but this beats it on raw performance, even more if you take the overclockability into consideration. For an AMD card this is quite a power efficient model as well. My card runs at a stable 62c under full load which really is great. Quite quiet as well.

I went from a 3070 to this and am very happy with the performance - I used to be an Nvidia fanboy but decided to try support team red again, their value really is good.

However at this point AMD is not as good for rendering and other software applications and FSR isn't as good as DLSS, the ray tracing is also not as good as Nvidia if that's your thing.

These aren't issues for me as i use my rig for pure gaming and don't use ray tracing. Thanks Wootware for usual great service

Recently purchased the XFX 7900 GRE MERC card. So far it's great and runs amazingly quiet and it's very fast.
I was concerned due to my old i7 9700k CPU might take too much strain but it's fine for now. The i7 all cores clocked to 4.7Ghz - MSI Z390 carbon gaming motherboard and 32 Gig 3200 RAM. I did not overclock any ram.

Tested it out of the box on only Apex Legends, and Warframe so far. It runs full 155fps (max frames my 2k monitor allows 155Hz) with all settings maxed out at 1440p. It can surely run more FPS. The GPU temp is much lower than I expected with lower energy consumption. It's a most impressive card for the price. No frills or lights. Quality is solid:

XFX 7900 GRE has the highest out-of-the-box built-in boost clock of all the AMD 7900 GRE card brands. I would recommend this card for now.

The out-of-the-box boost clock is rocking for 1440p gaming on maximum settings. Cannot test the 4k.

I do not recommend tampering and overclocking any GPU. It reduces the lifespan of any GPU in the long run.
My Asus Roc Strix 64 Vega died exactly after 5 years. Very slight overclocking and undervolting. Never got really hot or over 70C

Will test Helldivers 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 soon.

originally held out for the 4070Ti super , opted for this instead , i was not disappointed , with bump in my FPS from my previous GPU asus 6800xt tuff , out of the box performance was excellent , after tweaking few sliders on AMD adrenalin software , slight undervolt , less heat = less noise , allowing clocks to boost slightly higher for better performance

Price to performance and energy saving , this card is an absolute Gem

thoroughly impressed by this AMD GPU...!

Exactly what I needed to hit better FPS on my favorite FPS titles! Compliments my older processor and RAM well and rammed a 3dmark score of 18 000+ on Timespy :D
