Bought this monitor a little over 2 years ago when I built my PC. Noticed a strip of dead/discolored pixels neat the bottom of the screen that has since multiplied rapidly over the past few weeks. That's not a very good lifetime for a monitor, especially one that cost as much as this. Will likely not be picking up AOC again after this...

Purchased 2 of these.. both ended up with same symptoms, starts with distorted display at the bottom ends with strips across the whole screen.. nice looking in the beginning, switched to Samsung instead..

These are great, budget friendly, 1080p monitors. Ive had the model before this one, for over 2 years now and decided to get this model 7 months ago. I have been pleased with the better colour accuracy on this new model, as well as the perfect brightness and refresh rate... but, a pixel had decided to act up about a month ago and is now entirely stuck no matter what tricks I employ to get rid of it. So I am stuck with an annoying green dot just to the centre left quarter of my screen the entire time. Even thought I love these budget friendly monitors for AOC, I do not think my next upgrade will be from their offering. I will rather opt for Dell or LG i'd reckon.

This is one of the best budget gaming monitors out there. All you need for 165hz is to buy a display port if your setup doesn't have one. If, you don't have that, it'll only give you 144hz. I play Apex Legends and get pretty good and get pretty good visual quality.

This AOC Monitor is a testament to what can be achieve on a budget without sacrificing key features - an offering that truly provides great value!

The only reason for the 4 stars - these monitors are not HDR compatible and they come with short non-braided cables; I wish they came with longer braided cables to make cable management easier out the box.

Excellent monitor for the price, many features and enjoying the higher refresh rate and vivid colors. Vesa mounting also easy with no issues mounting it to my existing monitor brackets. Power, Display Port and HDMI cables included.

I have owned this monitor for a couple of months now and am still thoroughly enjoying it. The monitor hits a sweet spot in terms of blending great image quality and performance for the price, which makes it perfect for more allround use, rather than just being outright suitable for gaming. The extended colour gamut gives games a vibrant image and the contrast is also very decent compared to my other IPS monitors. The only thing I would drop a star for is that text could be slightly more clear and crisp and that the OSD is a pain to use, especially if you compare this to Dell and LG.

This screen is extremely good for the price, the colours, brightness and contrast is insane for an IPS panel, not to mention the lovely 165hz refresh rate. I can definitely reccommend this monitor and also Wootware for their quick and amazing service!

I went from a laptop screen to this, so no other comparison. I will never want to go back to my laptop after experiencing this monitor. the price is awesome, quality is good and the display is smooth and responds very quick. I'm running at 144Hz and honestly very happy with this purchase.

If you're in the market for a Good, Budget oriented monitor that has A LOT of features, look no further because this might be the one for you. It may not have G Sync or AMD Freesync Premium, but who cares about that, do people still use that? For about R4000 and includes multiple input options, is 165Hz AND is adjustable is various ways, this is a great monitor that will indeed last a couple of years, not to mention it's from AOC, so you know you're getting a quality product that wouldn't break the bank. It also includes both Display Port and HDMI cables, unlike others brands that only includes a standard HDMI cable.

Great monitor for a budget upgrade that will last, adjustability of the height and angle work greatly. Although a smaller monitor it still delivers in customizing and efficiency while, still being a smooth experience. Assembly is easy and it's size makes sure that if your space is small it works for you and not against you.
