AOC CU34G2X 34" UWQHD (3440x1440) 21:9 144Hz 1ms VA Curved Gaming Desktop Monitor

I am very impressed with Wootware service and have been using the screen now for nearly two weeks. The screen is fantastic with excellent colour and definition. After viewing many reviews and deciding on this screen I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable Ultrawide curved screen. the R1500 curve is excellent for gaming.

As a developer this monitor is great, paired with another 27" I have quite the widescreen experience. The 144Hz makes all interactions feel super smooth, I absolutely love it! Gaming wise, this monitor performs really well, as my first UWQHD I can see why you wouldn't want to go back to normal 16:9 aspect ratio monitors as it really immerses you in the gaming experience for games that support it.

Been using this for just over a week now, and it's a great screen. Blacks are black, which is a change from the IPS monitor I had before. The color seemed washed out and whites were oversaturated when I first started using it, but it turned out to be the windows 10 HDR giving issues. Adjustable stand is a great feature.

The is a very reasonably priced monitor for those looking to make the move to ultra wide. It's a VA Panel so the contrast and colours are great. You may notice a bit of ghosting if you're coming from an IPS or TN panel though.

This monitor performs beyond my expectations. Being a programmer, UI designer and gamer I found this monitor to be the perfect balance. I highly recommend this monitor. Very surprised how well this monitor performs. With adaptive sync it works on both AMD Freesync and Gsync.

I recommend these settings for the best and deepest colours:

Picture Boost
Bright Frame on
Frame size 100
Brightness 34
Contrast 50

Under Game settings,
Game mode is off (if u enable, it will disable picture boost mode)
set low blue mode to off ,
overdrive to medium ( If you have a very powerful pc like an intel 8700k or higher with an RTX 2070 or higher , u might want to leave the overdrive setting off, it adds a lot of input lag and u don't really have that much blurriness with a very powerful pc and gpu.)
Freesync to On

Under luminance,
Contrast is 45
Brightness is 95 (lower it if you like)
Eco mode standard
Gamma set to gamma 2
DCR is off

Under Color Setup
Color Temp is set to User
Red is 43
Green is 48
Blue is 49
shadow control 50

Once I setup this config, I can now fully say that this monitor is a must buy and I am now totally loving it. playing games on it has been very immersive and u just cant go wrong with this product. Once properly configured this monitor is amazing.
