Corsair CH-9304211 Scimitar RGB Elite 18,000 DPI Optical MOBA/MMO Wired Gaming Mouse

Have used Razer Naga Hex -> Razer Naga Trinity -> Razer Naga v2 Pro -> this corsair mouse.

Razer had only real available option for mmo style mouse side buttons but Razer software sucks and the middle mouse button always breaks on them and various other hardware issues. If Razer Naga v2 pro or naga v2 hyperspeed upped their hardware fault reliability and razer significantly improved their software I would definitely still opt for the v2 hyperspeed over this corsair scimitar but because the razer mouses are more expensive and typically have a shortish lifespan I cannot afford to keep blowing 3-5 grand on a mouse once a year. So hopefully this scimitar lasts a bit longer.

This mouse deserves its own category of "super mouse" because buttonless mice can't compare to this.

I haven't played any MOBA or MMO games recently but this mouse is still extremely convenient to have for many games and applications. It significantly reduces the amount of cross-country travelling your hands have to do to perform common tasks.

For instance, any game with a hotbar of items or abilities can benefit. Your left hand can stay on WASD & shift/control while you use your thumb on your right hand to swap to a different item.

Web browsing: Switch tabs, page up & down, go forward & backwards, close tab, copy & paste, middle mouse (open new tab), volume up & down. That's 12 actions you can perform using your thumb alone, without touching the keyboard.
Programming: With any modern IDE you can certainly find many uses for 12 side buttons. Excellent for navigating & refactoring code.

The mouse is very light & comfortable and it also works on Linux via ckb-next.

10/10, would buy again.

From a purely constructive point of view:

1. High quality mouse.
2. Good shape and sits well in my hand.
3. On the side buttons, the number 1 key sits quite low which causes your thumb to press against your mouse pad when pressing it, which is a bit of a down side.

Overall, i would recommend this mouse for any moba/mmo players.
