- What a great purchase! - Dante, 26 February 2026
The V8 Scyrox Wireless gaming mouse is an excellent purchase and has exceeded my expectations, especially for FPS gaming. Tracking feels precise and responsive.
Battery performance is solid, and the charging time is impressively fast. It gets back to full power quickly, which minimizes downtime between sessions.
One of the standout features is the web-based software. Being able to adjust settings through a browser without installing additional programs keeps the PC clean and clutter-free. The interface is straightforward and easy to use.
Presentation is also high-tier. The packaging and overall unboxing experience feel premium and well thought out.
Overall, a strong choice for players looking for performance, convenience, and clean software integration.
Cheers,
04KS - Best gaming mouse I've ever used - Justine, 25 July 2025
This is by far the best gaming mouse I have ever used. I was using a Razer Deathadder V3 Pro which cost me +- R3000 a year and a bit ago. The Pixart PAW3950 sensor in this mouse is superior to the Razer mouse. Not only that the mouse weighs less and is less bulky and more nippy that the Razer. Lastly the Razer software is horrible and not something you want to install and the Scyrox software is unobtrusive and not nearly as bad.
I love this mouse so much. Battery power seems fine and the clicks sound and feel amazing. To be this impressed with a R1200 mouse after coming from a R3000 Razer Deathadder V3 Pro speaks volumes on just how good a product this is. - My new main - Nikhil, 11 June 2025
I play mostly competitive FPS games and while I've sunk most of my hours into Counter Strike, I've been playing more Valorant lately.
My hands are 19.5cm x 10.5cm, so they're fairly large. I've used a Logitech G502, which I loved at the time, but the weight is horrendous and I felt it held me back aim-wise. Since then, I have used the Xtrfy M42, the Endgame Gear XM1r and the Rapoo VT9Pro. The latest of which, I felt the shape was not right for me and hate the wireless implementation to be honest.
The XM1r was the best shape I've ever used and this does come quite close to it, if not edging it out due to how comfortably light and balanced it feels. The hump is a bit more aggressive than the XM1r and the mouse is slightly shorter and slimmer.
Feels really good, the coating is grippy, the weight honestly feels like I'm holding air. I would say a smoother pad would benefit this mouse a lot. I am currently using a cheap cordura pad from Takealot.
I do hope this mouse comes back into stock as more people definitely should try it. Also, Scyrox is a subsidiary of Lamzu, and the spec-sheet shows the quality pretty well. - Best option available in SA right now. - Demi, 30 May 2025
After thoroughly putting this mouse through the ringer on Kovaak's voltaic s5 (I am top 100, base grandmaster with astra and nova scores), I can confidently say that Scyrox's v8 is by far the best pick up you can find in our country for raw aim right now.
The weight to size ratio leads to the perfect density in hand. The QC is 100% on my unit. The coating is stellar, similar to that on the endgame gear op1. The sensor has no issues whatsoever, aims well wirelessly and wired.
I have many mice in rotation, most of them imports. Everything from GWolves, to Logitech's GPX2, to fingertip exclusive like the Darmoshark m5. This mouse absolutely holds its own against the tippy top of what's available in the peripheral space, zero drawbacks.
Shape wise, think of a cross between an endgame gear op1 and zowie za13. Only with the weight density nearing the level of GWolves.
I truly hope this will be kept in stock for a long time to come. It would be an utter shame for our country to finally have an offering this good, only for it to be sold out and not return. - Pretty Good - Wes, 20 May 2025
Really good for the price, the missing star is for the battery life, its not great, but manageable if you set the sleep time properly
