Upgraded after being with a 60hz 1080p monitor for a long time to this,I didn't think this would look this amazing, especially for gaming, I can highly recommend this monitor.

Set it to "Super Fast", calibrate the colour a little, and enjoy one of the most well-rounded monitors you could buy at R8k. It's an absolutely solid choice for both gaming and productivity.

I had one of these monitors previously, but i am still very impressed with the quality of the product. The resolution and refresh rate is top class. Would recommend this monitor to everybody that can afford it.

Great customer support as well as an amazing monitor

Seriously, if you don't have one already, this is the sweet spot. Some newer panels might have slightly better specs at a similar price, but you can't go wrong with this. I've looked around a lot and it's hard to beat the combination of price, resolution, refresh rate, motion performance (smearing/inverse ghosting), colour accuracy and contrast. Some screens are better in some of these dimensions, but with significant compromises in others. Until monitor tech takes a leap forward, this is the one to get.

Images are crisp, motion is smooth and colours are rich. The resolution is high enough to be sharper than 1080 but not a GPU-melting 4k. The refresh rate is high enough to be noticeably smoother than 60hz or even 75hz, but isn't 240hz which many games can't reach regardless of hardware. It won't have the contrast of a good VA panel but honestly it's plenty good enough, nothing like TN. The stand is perfectly stable and works well for portrait orientation.

HDR400 is a scam. This panel doesn't really have HDR. That said, with these specs at a reasonable price I don't miss HDR one bit.

No negatives , pretty much plug and play.
Just set the response time to super fast and crank up the brightness.
AAA open world titles look amazing! If you are on the fence about buying this monitor , just jump the fence and buy it!! By far the best 1440p on the market.

It is a great monitor, with a nice blue light (which can be turned off) at the back. The swivel feature is nice and would be useful for developers. At 256x1440 I am only able to get 143.91Hz with a laptop that has a RTX 3070TI. So I think for 165Hz it is required to be at 1080. Something to be mindful of.

Bought two of these to replace my old 23" 60hz 1080p Dells 5 months ago. What an upgrade, both monitors worked flawlessly out the box, just tweaked the response settings.

Crisp and clear display. Perfect size for development. The 27" combined with 1440p resolution and 165hz refresh rate has negated the need for a second monitor. With some clever workspace arrangement, this is actually proving more convenient than dual monitor or an extra large 4K display. I would highly recommend. The stand is a bit bulky if you have limited desk space, but I use a monitor arm anyway - so doesn't bother me at all.

This is a very capable monitor, but it does not get bright enough for my room. I had gotten used to a curved screen that gets rid of most of the glare, no such luck with a flat panel. The image quality is very good but the viewing angles are nowhere near as good as the reviews claim. There is substantial color washout past ~ 15 degrees, so you'll want to sit directly in front of this one.

Great monitor with fast refresh and ideal res for the 27" size. Dell generally produces great products, and this one is very much in line with their products. Good value for the money.

Most of us are too young to remember (myself included) when the first colour tv's came out after everything being in black and white since the dawn of TV. But switching to this monitor from a 60hz 1080p VA panel was like that for me. Everything is clearer, brighter, sharper and the colours more vibrant. If you're on the fence about getting this monitor, JUMP NOW!

I'm convinced this monitor is the best bang for buck 1440p high refresh option available in the country. I spent DAYS researching our available options and nothing seems to beat this one for pixel response time alongside all the other features. Even at it's regular price, you get a fantastic vibrant IPS panel with 165hz and freesync. G-sync does work but I wouldn't say flawlessly - unfortunately using G-sync limits the adaptive refresh range to 60-165hz instead of 48-165hz. This means that every time your GPU drops below 60fps, you feel a noticeable drop in smoothness as the monitor switches to "low frame rate compensation mode" and starts running the monitor refresh rate at double the fps (e.g. 55fps = 110hz). Not a deal breaker and it's worth mentioning that other non-Gsync-certified monitors tend to do the same anyway.

Otherwise, I haven't noticed any flaws with the panel. There is some minor edge bleed but this is to be expected with IPS panels and I can only see it in very dark rooms. Shouldn't be a problem unless you like to play/watch in the dark (which isn't good for your eyes anyway).

10/10 would recommend and buy again.

The Dell S2721dgfa is a masterpiece with its Alienware like design and out of this world image quality. I've read alot of reviews and did alot of research on 1440p monitors and the Dell comes out on top. The color is rich and vibrant and paired with a beefy graphics card, you won't go wrong. I upgrade from a 23 inch, 60hz monitor and to experience 165hz is mind blowing. Dell in itself is one of the biggest name brands when it comes to monitors. I would highly recommend tis monitor for serious gamers who wants a fast and vibrant monitor. Dell definitely did not compromise on quality.

I did my research before deciding to buy this monitor and even with quite high expectations it didn't disappoint. I am very impressed so far.

I use three of these in my sim racing rig; reasonably light, very narrow bezels and great viewing angles. The variable refresh rate really helps with graphics-intensive games.

I bought this monitor after I originally got a curved VA monitor for my new build and the VA had terrible black smearing - as do all VA's. This IPS of course has none of that. It handles everything I throw at it as close to 165 FPS as my system can get.

Nividia G-Sync also works perfectly well with it. Can't comment on the stand as I use a monitor arm, but I generally advise getting a desk arm for extra space when using monitors that are larger than 1080p.

Nothing wow, it's pretty but default settings are a miss, far better once you've set the color co-ords correct. Very power hungry for a screen, it will add a fair couple bucks to your bill as long as you aren't coming from the stone-age.

I bought this monitor after a lot of research on 1440p 144/165hz screens, and I'm pretty satisfied. The only problems I have include some pretty significant IPS glow/backlight bleed in the bottom left corner of the screen (only noticeable on dark backgrounds), as well as oversaturated colors out of the box, requiring either monitor calibration or installation of an ICC profile + built-in settings tweaking. Great monitor overall.

If you looking for a quality gaming 1440p gaming monitor for an affordable price, this monitor is for you. Out of all the features this monitor has for the price tag, it is worth every Rand. The only sad manufacturing feature of the build for me is that the build in screen crosshair does not exist in any dell gaming monitors. Brilliant monitor for colour grading and displays your greens and red's Exceptionally well. Not many guids on how to fully allow G-sync but takes a little settings tweaks on the monitor itself to ensure G-Sync is prioritized over other settings on the monitor. more on the common side of things, IPS Glow and Backlight bleeding, None Existant on this monitor, coming from playing Escape from Tarov, Apex, Pubg and so fourth. Overally amazing monitor for the price tag.

Coming from a 24.5" Alienware 240Hz TN 1080p G-Sync monitor I was sceptical at first about buying this monitor. I thought the IPS screen and the 1440p resolution would be an upgrade, whilst the slower 165Hz refresh rate and the lack of a dedicated G-Sync module (albeit G-Sync compatible) would be a downgrade. I was fairly neutral on the size difference, 24.5" vs 27". All I can say is that the IPS screen is a lot more vibrant than the TN screen and the 1440p resolution at 27 inches makes everything crystal clear, text and graphics. I have only played Black Ops Cold War MP and Far Cry 6 on this panel but the slower response time and the lack of a G-Sync module (NVCP: G-Sync on, V-Sync on) has not bothered me one bit. The only negative is that I developed eye fatigue with this screen in normal use - like many others on the Internet, but setting the screen to HDR in Windows 11 solved it for me (although I play my games in SDR). This monitor comes higly recommended for the price.

Coming from a 240hz Alienware 1080p. This monitor is very responsive, resolution is epic, blacks are wonderful with little backlight bleed (Not like what ratings show). Great build quality. Worth it!

In what appears to be some serious bad luck, my unit came shipped with a faulty nub, which is used for navigating the OSD. It was no longer able to navigate "left" after only a few days of use, meaning I could no longer lower any values. This includes, brightness, volume, saturation, etc.

Luckily, Dell's support was timely and responsive, and they helped replace the faulty monitor painlessly. However, while Wootware sent me a unit in a clean, pristine box, Dell's replacement came in a box that looked like it had been dragged across the floor of every warehouse between here and Asia. Substantially dirtied and scuffed, but the actual replacement monitor itself was perfectly clean and factory-new. That replacement monitor still works now, several months later.

Despite this unusual experience acquiring a working unit, I an extremely pleased with its performance, and I hope to continue using it for many years to come. Has the best color and contrast of any high-refreshrate panel I've used so far. Recommended!

So I have this monitor for about 4 months now, its paired with a 3070 and a Ryzen 3800x.
I used an older dell 27inch 1080p 75hz monitor for a few months on this system prior.

I contemplated for many months on whether to take the plunge and upgrade my display.

Long story short, there is no debate. If you have a new gen card, like a 3070 -- Buy it, you will not be disappointed :) I have seen most of the negatives on this monitor online -> its much over muchness to be honest, so I wouldn't worry about that.

This monitor is high quality in every aspect. The build is superb with all the adjustments you would want. The inputs and outputs cover everything you would want. Most importantly, the display quality is spectacular. I love this monitor.

I feel the advertising of this on wootware doesn't quite to the monitor justice since it doesn't make it clear that this monitor is fully gsync compatible it even has a gsync sticker on it. I would not expect to find a 165hz monitor with gsync at this price.

Very responsive, clear, good build quality and overall good display, however, the HDR is rather poor, don't buy this monitor for HDR, and my unit's usb passthrough has been disconnecting a lot, so I can't use my external cd drive, headset and BT receiver and external HD on it because it disconnects data, which is very annoying, I have since removed its connection to my pc and now only use it to charge my wireless mouse and headset, so no data is connected. Other than that, the monitor has performed well when it comes to gaming, working, and editing images and playing with blender and UE5.

I have had it for almost a year now, and I am almost happy with it, if only the darn usb passthrough worked properly....

Took very little configuration out of the box, just applied the overdrive option and took advantage of the higher nits for adjusting brightness. Big thumbs up for colour on this monitor, as it was calibrated really well out of the box and required little to no effort to adjust. FreeSync Pro is enabled by default and keeps a steady image while gaming. So far, the 1440p experience has been great, images and text are crisp, really no complaints there. I also really appreciate the flat 27" panel over curved, but that is just personal preference.

Blown away by this monitor, the quality and packaging is exceptional, definitely recommended to anyone looking for a Quad HD monitor.

Love this screen. I came from a Dell S2716DG which was also 1440p and 144hz but only Gsync. The Freesync and 165Hz is really awesome and this IPS panel makes the colours pop out of the screen. Great buy anyday!

Adjustability is just ok.

IPS panels with Gsync capability and high refresh rates were quite scarce at some point in our country. When you could get hold of one, they were ludicrously expensive (R15k-R18k). And now, with the S2721DGFA, Dell has made it quite affordable to own one of these screens. Simply put: its gaming perfection. Bright colours, high refresh rate and fast pixel response times; it ticks all the boxes for a good gaming display. I play a lot of Doom Eternal, and where my previous screen (LG32GK650f) occasionally had very slight ghosting due to the slower VA panel response times; this one had none whatsoever. Finally, 1440p @27" looks a lot sharper than 1440p @32" (my LG). Definitely worth the price.

I was due a replacement screen and my insurer delivered this, I must say, I was stuck between going the 4K monitor route or sticking with 1440p like my previous monitor, and im really glad I stuck with this one. Its an absolute beast of a monitor, you might need to manually adjust some features to get it exactly like you want it, but thats not hard, watch a youtube vid and you're good.

The build quality is solid, its quite a heavy screen and feels robust. The colours are insane, I have never had a monitor that quite pops out color like this screen and its immediately noticeable.

You cant go wrong with this monitor.

I use this monitor for work and games and this IPS display does really well. Having it at 1440p is a sweet spot for screen real-estate while working and the resolution at 165hz being amazing for gaming. The screen is easy to configure and switching between devices is quick.

The HDR local dimming on this monitor is too obvious. Other than that one thing... THIS MONITOR IS FANTASTIC! Its fast, its clear and its the build quality is commendable. Also a really great adjustable stand.

Having always played games on a 60Hz monitor this was a massive upgrade. This monitor checked all the boxes for me. I saw a couple of concerns regarding backlight bleed and out of the box settings not being perfect but honestly a few tweaks and this baby was looking beautiful! Yes the HDR400 is not somthing to write home about but honestly I can do without it as the games look amazing regardless. Even on my pleb 1060 3GB card it felt amazing. Recently upgraded to a RTX 2070 Super and dang! I cannot believe the difference!

I thought forking out another R4000 to get the 1440p panel vs 1080p panel will give diminishing returns on satisfaction. I was wrong. I have so much screen space to work on, coding on it is an absolute delight (can even do portrait mode if you'd like). Gaming is just something else on 1440p, never going back to 1080p again.

My first 1440p monitor, upgraded from the 1080 version of this one. The increased refresh rate is instantly noticeable. Colors are great - red might be a bit too intense at times. Hands down the best investment because the 1080p monitor was bottlenecking my set up. Price is very good considering it uses the same panel as the LG

I've searched far and wide for a IPS 2k monitor with >144Hz refresh rate and was not able to find any even remotely close to this one in specs or price range.

The picture quality is great, the colors are accurate and vibrant (note: the factory color calibration of this monitor isn't perfect, I had to fiddle with the settings to get mine spot on). I also haven't noticed any of the backlight bleed some other reviews mention even when using the monitor in a dimly lit room, although I may just be used to it from my previous monitors.

The build quality is top notch and this really feels like a premium product.

As always the service from Wootware was excellent and I received my delivery the day after placing the order and in perfect condition.

I am very happy with this purchase and can recommend this product to anyone looking for a great 2k gaming monitor on a budget.

Overall, I see why people are happy with this monitor especially if they are upgrading from 60hz TN panels but I am actually very disappointed and I hope it is not a faulty unit. I bought this to replace my Acer Predator XB27 which was an amazing monitor before it died, it was also 165hz IPS 1440p. I bought this as the specs were similar on paper and in some ways better with Nano IPS. I'm not happy due to the following issues:

* There is a yellow/green tint on the screen out of the box, I've been fiddling with RGB settings for over a week trying to find that white point and not quite there which is disappointing
* There is no SRGB clamp mode, which means that all colors are oversaturated and neon like - if you like that, that's great if you like accurate colors, you're not going to be happy
* This monitor strains my eyes, never had an issue with the Acer Predator, this monitor tires my eyes constantly, especially at night, I believe it is due to the Nano IPS technology and the major backlight bleed with this monitor
* HDR 400 is a joke and a marketing gimmick but I knew that before I bought the monitor

All in all, the 165 hz is great, 1440p is great, Freesync works well for the most part with a bit of flickering in LFC mode which is expected with Nvidia cards

Not too happy with the issues experienced at this price point to be honest. Wootware service was great though as always, got it delivered chop chop.

I contemplated buying a 27" 2k monitor for a couple months and I am very happy with this Dell.

Very user friendly menu and configuration.

Also has a couple USB points which is a nice to have.

It is a great display with some really nice colours.

Now I just need a decent PC to run it at 165hz haha.

Pull the trigger and upgraded to 1440p and wow. This panel is amazing and the NANO-IPS display is gorgeous. IPS glow on my panel is minimal and everything looks so sharp. Dell did wonders with this panel!

Great solidly build screen with excellent SDR color gamut. Also have very low input lag. Had to calibrate the picture mode a bit though. Would definitely recommend, as long as you aren't buying it for the HDR.

Upgraded from a 24 inch 1920 x 1080 screen. The resolution jump is amazing and quite noticeable. The 165 Hz is also a fantastic improvement on the 60 Hz.

Much better than any of the other brands, its worth the extra money, and gets an average of 3.6ms which is very fast for IPS, and you get great colours and viewing angles.. I have the Dell S3220DGF as well, and this is the clear winner... only downside is size, but that's something you can live it by just bringing it closer you...

I purchased this screen to pair it with my RTX 3090 and can say it has definitely been worth. The colour is great out of the box and with a little tweaking, it can even be better.

Upgraded from an Samsung S27B550 (1080, 60Hz) to this Dell display, and WOW! What a noticeable difference! I mainly use mine for work (Software Development) and my eyes still feel fresh after a long days work! I also play a little COD War Zone, and it keeps the image crisp! Would recommend :-)

I have been in the market for a 1440p high refresh rate display for a while now and after lots of shopping around I settled on this one. I am very impressed as the colour accuracy and smoothness and viewing angles are fantastic, especially coming from a 60hz TN panel.

Brightness with HDR400 is also great and I don't even run the screen on full brightness as it is too much.

Great value. 10/10 would recommend this to any friends or family.

This monitor is insane in terms of almost every spec. The refresh rate is insane. It feels more smooth than a 240hz monitor somehow. The 2k is the perfect resolution and makes every game look insane. Never thought from 1080p to 1440p would make such difference but it does.

The only problem is it is an IPS panel meaning you are sacrificing blacks. They will look grey in the corner because of the typical backlight bleeding that happens in all IPS panels. If your room is dark don't buy. Otherwise this screen is just too insane not to take.

Also the HDR400 is complete garbage. Sorry to say. It makes all the black colors look super gray and pretty much green and red looks good. That is it. It should almost not be a feature I feel.

The screen looks good, but i've been having issues playing games in fullscreen mode, the screen goes off(black) now and then, this does not seem to happen when in windowed mode

I previously had a dual monitor 1080p 24" setup, one 60 Hz and the other 144Hz. I replaced the 60Hz with this one, and what an improvement. The 27" and 1440p combo is a winner for sure, everything looks super crisp, and the high refresh rate is great. I barely had to calibrate, out of the box it looked good. Paired with a 3080 and 5900X for buttery smooth framerates, highly recommended if you're making the jump to a better graphics card. The difference between 1080p 24" to 1440p 27" is great and definitely a noticeable step up in games. Thanks to Wootware for making this monitor available at a great price!

Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase! Going from a 1080p 24'' 60Hz to this made this monitor all the more worth it! It has an amazing colour range, easy interface, great design and strong build quality!
The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the viewing angles don't have the best range and slight screen/sharpness distortion with the far edge of a corner or two. This is very minimal and not noticeable while gaming and editing or even in a darker room and that is where this monitor excels at!

I upgraded from a previous Dell 1440p, 144hz monitor and this is a step up! Bought it for the AMD Freesync to pair with my 6800XT, also from Woot!

I upgraded from a LG21inch 1080p 60hz monitor and what a massive difference this monitor is...WOW!! A few of my friends have stressed their sadness and envy of this monitor and it kinda feels good that I made a good choice.

Fantastic monitor if you want high refresh rate with decent LFC and good color reproduction, the blacks are not the best and glow is present as expected with IPs panels, but you cant really fault it for that.

Just got the cables to run Thunderbolt to DisplayPort and can comfortably output 1440p at 165Hz from a mere Macbook. I bought 2 and have a dual screen setup, with Playstation connected via HDMI to the screen directly in front of me.

I didn't know anything about the OSD beforehand, but so far the most useful thing is that the OSD buttons also function as shortcut keys, which you can bind to other actions in the OSD. Current usage is one shortcut key to flip input source to HDMI, and another button to flip input source to DisplayPort - which is quite handy.

Also they're quite bright, I've set the screens to 45% brightness which is comfortable for day time and night time usage on both desktop and PS4. Anyone pushing you for 9000nits is crazy, cos it's not possible to look at that all day from a metre away.

165Hz is amazing, and the jump from 60 is real. Viewing angles are great, colors are great, size is great for me sitting about 800mm away.

Having the two monitors next to each other, it's also great that the bezels aren't chunky, they quickly disappear from perception and make the setup feel great.

One thing that's a little strange is that one of the monitors has a clicky power button, and the other has a spongy power button. I prefer the spongy one, but the monitor is so great I'm keeping it, since they also automatically go into standby when the input stops sending signal- so I don't see myself actually interacting with the power button all that much.

If you're looking for a good monitor, and this is within your budget, just get it - you won't be disappointed

What can I say, it does exactly what it says. amazing picture quality at 165hz with ultra fast response time(i prefer staying on the fast setting), runs ultra smooth. some slight shadowing along the edges, but then you getting so much more than what you actually paid for when comparing to a 20k panel. that darkest dark and lightest light is extremely great.

best part was the after sales service, after 2 weeks got faulty pixels, contacted Wootware support who informed me of procedure. Dells support is amazing, after navigating through their testing checks, received a new monitor within 24hrs.

This was my first 1440p monitor and man this thing looks amazing.

Looks and feels like a premium quality monitor.

Out of the box my panel had a yellow tint, but after tuning the colour settings a bit, it looks perfect.

The HDR on this monitor can be written off though, as my colours look better without the HDR400 enabled.

Great monitor. Has almost every spec, just missing hdr 600 and 240hz. blacklight bleed is not bad but there is a noticeable amount in the bottom left corner, had to turn down the brightness to minimize it. Black uniformity is great! gysnc works flawlessly!

I have been using this monitor for more than a month now and absolutely love it so far. I generally look at reviews of monitors to see the best calibration and was shocked to see little to no actual calibration suggestions by people who have bought this monitor. When I finally received the monitor and tried my best calibrate the monitor I realized it was really unnecessary.

This monitor is perfect out the box and an actually noticeable improvement both visually and performance when compared to the other two models I have owned being S2719DGF and S2716DG (G-Sync variant).

One thing which I have not picked up in review when researching this monitor is that its Anti-glare level seems better than previous models as I experience far less glare and eye strain when my house is fully lit with sunlight. Fantastic for day and night gaming. Which brings me to the night gaming topic. The Blue LED at the back is subtle which makes it far less distracting but provide that sufficient light if you have things around the monitor you want to fiddle with that you may not of seen otherwise (Speaker volume control etc).

Overall very happy with this monitor and you can't go wrong getting one of these based on value vs performance+quality. Dell made the right choice going with a flat-screen instead of curved!

I have 1 of these screens so far with my North Bayou F27 monitor mount stand. I honestly think this screen was designed for this mount. Going to get a second one to complete my build :D

Thin bezel, 1ms , 165hz and Freesync / Gsync compatible..best..

I have been using a Dell S2715 monitor for work and gaming over the past 5 years and its treated me very well. I decided that it was time to upgrade to a newer monitor - preferably another Dell - and after watching many YouTube reviews on various types of monitors, this one grabbed my attention the most. When you first take it out of the box you feel that this thing is quality! It's incredibly sturdy and the cool blue accent at the back is just enough to illuminate the wall behind it without being distracting. The picture quality out of the box is excellent. I have not had a chance to try the full 165Hz but I'm already a very pleased customer with 1440p @144Hz. I would strongly advise anyone on the fence to go ahead and get it, you won't regret it.

Excellent monitor, you seriously don't need more than this monitor, ever. 1440p, 165hz, IPS Panel. Great colours, USB passthrough, the Dell Display Manager software allows you to quickly change things like the brightness and mode without using the monitors little joystick thing.
Nice soft blue light at the back (that can be turned off) that casts onto the wall behind which can look nice. Overall a very pretty monitor, can swivel side to side and can be tilted and whatnot

Note: I thought the only issue with the monitor was that there was no way to turn it off without yanking out the DisplayPort cord, and saw others complaining about that....but the little white light at the bottom right is actually a button that turns of the monitor (though a bit violently), so there's that

This monitor is amazing! Coming from a 1080p 60hz screen i could not stop being amazed at the quality this screen produces, Especially when gaming.

Firstly I would like to thank Wootware for excellent service. This product was up for preorder and was supposed to arrive at the end of the month, and regardless I received it two weeks beforehand. I could not have asked for a better surprise.

As for the product self...WOW! This monitor is great value for money. I searched around for a capable 1440p with great refresh rates and couldn't get any that were available in the country. I then after a long and tiresome search saw Wootware had this monitor, and after reading a few reviews decided to buy. I have a 1660s in my rig and the two go hand in hand like a wine and a good steak! The colors are accurate, the usb hub makes it breeze to plug in anything into my PC and the UI of the monitor itself is easy to operate.

If you are looking for a monitor with G-Sync, 1440p resolution and a High refresh rate look no further

I've been using this product for about 1 week after coming from a 5 year old Samsung. It's been a great experience so far. Super colour accuracy and response time (which is to be expected). The Freesync and G-sync is fantastic.

Only disappointment is the contrast ratio, but that is to be expected with an IPS panel.

Definitely pick it up if you are in any doubt.

27" 1440p 165Hz is the sweet spot IMO

Excellent monitor. Colors are incredible. After using it for about 30 min my eyes where red from the eye strain. Nearly returned the monitor as I could not find a solution on the web.
After going through all the settings again I found a setting called saturation. It’s under MOBA/RTS

I’ve set the value from 50 to 35 and that fixed my eye strain situation.

I have owned an IPS gaming monitor with a physical G-sync module and I can confirm there is virtually no difference in the quality of the G-sync between this monitor and my previous monitor.

This monitor has noticeably better colour and motion clarity. Even the white and black uniformity of this panel surpassed my expectations. While HDR400 is not ideal I actually found it to look pretty good in some scenarios with this monitor. Contrast ratio is standard for an IPS panel, it really is not noticeably better or worse than older IPS panels.

This product easily gets 5 stars from me. After using different monitors this is definitely the one I will be keeping as my daily monitor. Calibration out of the box was actually pretty good but make sure that you spend some time to tweak the calibration to get the most out of the display.

I have been using this as my daily driver for little over a month now and I would definitely recommend this if you're coming from 1080p or sub 144hz. The IPS panel colours and clarity are amazing and overall build quality is great.

I upgraded from the S2719DGF (TN, 155hz, FreeSync), and this is definitely a worthy upgrade. Side by side the IPS panel is miles better in terms of colour reproduction. And it came over a week earlier. Awesome service Wootware!

After a week of using this product, there have been no issues at all. It is a great looking monitor at a very good price.
Build and display quality is excellent.

Great product and great value for money, the 1ms response time is not great and neither is the HDR other than that it has great picture quality with great colors. Would definitely buy again!

Very happy with the monitor, and pleasantly surprised at the price point it came in at from Wootware. It has all the quality and feel you'd expect from a Dell, with all the specs I wanted (1440p, 144 Hz, G-Sync, IPS, 1 ms response). As a bonus it doesn't have the garish "gaming look" of most competing products. The 27 inch 1440p is a sweet spot in my opinion in 2020, and the flat panel is ideal for mixed use (I wanted to avoid a curved panel). The G-Sync compatibility works great with my RTX 2060 Super, after the simple setup in Nvidia Control Panel. (Note however that G-Sync mode bottoms out at 48Hz I believe, whereas Freesync goes lower with AMD cards.) I pre-ordered from Wootware, and delivery came several weeks earlier than predicted. Communication was also great. This was my first purchase from Wootware, and I will definitely buy from them again. Overall, a very happy customer with both product and service.

Been researching monitors for about 8 months. I needed a flat 1440p IPS screen for work (graphic design) and I wanted high-refresh for gaming and future proofing. I was a hairs-breath away from importing the LG27GN850, which would have been ridiculously expensive. So I can't tell you how relieved I was to see this land in SA.

This monitor uses the same Nano IPS panel as the LG, but the build quality is sturdy as F***.
Colours out the box are a little warm and reds too intense (also a bit yellow), but a quick play with custom RGB settings and it's good.
Blacks aren't the deepest in SDR mode, but it's good enough and the panel handles sun glare like a champ.

Adaptive sync works well with an Nvidia Card (1660ti). It syncs to 165 via DP (1.4). I get no flickering when testing on the pendulum demo or in the games I've tried.
1440p is so worth it. The extra screen space and clarity over 1080 is worth the price alone. I've tried setting games down to 1080p (1x scale) for more FPS - and the panel renders it really well.

There are few reviews out at the moment, but rtings.com has an excellent breakdown. It matches or beats out the LG in most scenarios.

A note to Wootware - you guys are amazing. Best price in SA when I pre-purchased - AND it arrived 3 weeks earlier than expected :)

Blindly ordered this monitor as there were no real reviews available at the time I was looking at it. Compared to the TN panels that came before this it does seem to hold it's own pretty well. First day using it and so far so good. My unit doesn't seem to have have backlight bleed or any dead pixels.

Would definitely recommend this if you're coming from a older display. I moved to this from a 120hz Samsung S27A950D and response time wise I'd say it's about the same, but the colours (it's IPS) and extra clarity that comes with 1440 makes it way better than using my old 1080p TN.

Also kudo's to Wootware for a super fast delivery, was expecting this much later.
