I love this monitor for work and gaming. It has a lot of real estate for productivity that I have found to be amazingly helpful for my work flow. Gaming on this monitor is also absolutely brilliant. Games like RDR2 look stunning and it is very immersive. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking.

Haven't managed to max out settings as I game on a 1070ti. I have tested 2k 60 with HDR, and some games at 120hz. Also 2k HDR YouTubbe videos look rich in color. Pro's, monitor gets bright, 32' is the perfect size. Cons: Some images/video content looks washed out. Comparing to a 55" LG 4k tv... Remember at this price and size the monitor should produce a better picture. On the upside, a few tweaks to the settings creates a super nice picture (most of the time). I think though that if you own a better GPU, then you are in for a treat.... Overall I am happy, I would not recommend a cheaper monitor.

This monitor is great, I love it. Slight colour banding but nothing you can't deal with at the price point. All around a great monitor and if you are coming from 1080p you won't be disappointed at all

This monitor went waay beyond my expectations. It feels like I was living behind a rock for the last couple of years. Coming from a 24" 60hz display, this thing is an absolute beast. HDR takes gaming to the next level, especially when coupled with the high refresh rate and screen size. Would without a doubt recommend this monitor! Get it!

Another review for this monitor also mentioned this, and I felt it worth the price/warranty to try this screen anyways. That turned out to be true, at a R7500 sale this screen is still an absolute bargain, given that it has one major drawback. It *struggles* with black to dark colours. Banding is extremely noticeable and if you're interested in playing any atmospheric games with dark scenes or watching DC comics movies, this might not be for you. However, in 90% of use cases for games or working, it will not be an issue, since the dynamic contrast for games that use a lighter colour scheme (which are most) is great. For 32", the only way you'll do better than this is an 144Hz+ IPS 2K display, which seem to be quite rare and definitely more expensive. The size is a great benefit for the curved display, adds immersion and an amazing sense of scale for city builders like Anno and City: Skylines. Other tested games that work great on this monitor (little-to-no colourbanding issues): R6 Siege, WoW, Sea of Thieves, Witcher 3, Valheim, and SC2 to name a wide variety of genres.

Positive: Really good value, amazing resolution and size (its huge), good contrast, good colors, great refresh-rate, easy brightness control, great stand (height adjustable!). An amazing all-rounder with very little to complain about. I love the look of the screen that does not scream gaming.

Negatives: I don't like the screen settings menu.. The buttons are cumbersome to navigate through the menu and it takes many clicks from 3 different buttons to switch the source. Brightness control is perfect and can be done quick with 2 button presses. Its relatively heavy.

Verdict: Very little to complain about but a lot to rave about

I must admit that I've come from a world of affordable 24" IPS panels, so I was a little worried about switching to a VA monitor. I shouldn't have been. This is the best monitor I've ever owned or have had the pleasure of laying my eyes upon. I sit fairly close to it because my desk isn't deep and still I thoroughly enjoy the experience, without any eye fatigue. Just sheer bliss.

I want to thank the Wootware team for their service too. Delivery was prompt and their support quick and efficient. I had to contact them because I was suddenly experiencing minor power outages (every couple of minutes, the screen would shut down and 1s later power back up again) after I set the screen to 144Hz. It seems to be a problem with the older GTX cards. I've since reinstalled drivers and now everything works well.

This is the best gaming monitor you can get for its price range. Coming from a 1080p 40inch TV that I was previously using, the 32 inch size is more than adequate for gaming and watching movies/series. Build quality is excellent. Visuals look amazing and colour is great. The Smart HDR feature looks great.

There is however quite a bit of backlight bleed especially in a dark room but it doesn't bother me too much. Also the monitor doesn't have speakers so if you're connecting a console to it you'll need speakers or a headset.

Great monitor, feels solidly built and the R1800 curve is very subtle but perfect on a 32". It has Freesync 2 and 165hz to boot so it is no slouch in gaming and has far less of that smearing effect than the 32" Mecer 144hz I have as my off-screen. If you get this try to get the A03 or A04 revision as these support 120hz mode for consoles...if you get A01 or A02 you will only get 60hz performance as the mode was only added with A03 and later. Wootware knows their stuff and on querying, they confirmed it as A04A! So seems like Wootware stock is the newer version. Buy one if you are undecided...I have done a lot of research and for the money, you can't do better.

This monitor is the perfect size for me. Sitting 75 cm away from it. After setting 165 hz refresh rate from display settings, Desktop and web browsing is buttery smooth and seamless. The same goes for gaming. Couldn't fault it. Could never go back to my previous 60hz 108p 24 inch monitor.

Pros:

32" is bigger than I thought

Cons:
Brightness flickering with Freesync switched on. I disabled it and fixed the refresh rate to 165Hz

I was always concerned that a GTX 1080 would not be quite sufficient to hit optimal frames with a 1440p monitor. I was wrong, should have changed over sooner. The curve is subtle, the colours are perfect and the design is professional. I am super happy.

Apart from very slight flickering seen in one game (Warzone), only on loading screens, this monitor is working perfectly. I am very satisfied with the monitor and also the excellent service I received from Wootware.

I initially upgraded from 24" 1080p IPS (U2414H) to 27" 1440p IPS (U2719D) and, even though the extra screen real estate and crispness was nice at first, it didn't quite have that "wow factor". I then took the plunge and upgraded to this 32" VA 165Hz panel and WOW! The difference is night and day. Coming from 27" IPS, I was very worried about the colours and size of this monitor, but I can honestly say I have no complaints whatsoever. I use the Standard option in the OSD and, to me, the colours look better than on my IPS. From the Desktop to browsing to playing games, everything looks extremely vibrant without being over saturated. 165Hz makes such a big difference, even just in everyday use. Switching back to 60Hz now looks absolutely horrible. I sit roughly 70-80cm away from the screen and I find the size to be perfect. I don't really notice any more pixelation than on 27" 1440p. If anything, I find the DPI on this monitor to be perfect for my viewing range. I get excited every time I come and sit down in front of my PC now.

I'm not sure if it's the curve or the extra size, but games do definitely feel more immersive. It just fills so much more of your field of view.

I am using the DP cable that came with my U2719D as I read that the cable boxed with this monitor is 1.2. I am still not sure which version the cable is I am using now though. I will eventually try and find a decent quality DP 1.4 cable. Using my current cable, I can switch to 60, 120 and 164Hz in the Nvidia control panel. I can enable G-Sync as well. I am no pro when it comes to G-Sync, but the Nvidia Pendulum demo confirmed that it is working and games do feel quite smooth (G-Sync on, V-Sync off). Regarding the flickering that most of the online community talks about after enabling G-Sync, I did notice a little bit of flickering in AC Valhalla, but I don't notice anything in Cyberpunk, Overwatch, Dota 2 or any other game that I tried. It's quite hard to notice and I don't find it distracting at all. At one point in AC Valhalla it almost seemed as if the flickering completely disappeared. I have revision A03.

I'm not going to say much about build quality as it is excellent, as is the case with all Dell monitors really. I don't mind the physical buttons for controlling the OSD. I like the subtle blue tint of the Dell logo on the front and back. The stand is a bit larger than my 27", but unless your desk is really small, it doesn't matter all that much.

All in all this was a good buy that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great all rounder monitor with a "wow factor".

I was very unsure about what monitor to get and this one was an amazing choice! Ignore the 1ms response time debate - you'll never notice the difference. What you do get is great real-estate and superb color depth. Using this for coding and RTS gaming and can't be happier. Height adjustment and tilt is perfect for any positioning you'll need.

Enjoying the product, very immersive experience in this size and being curved, would definitely recommend this monitor. Build quality is very good as expected for a product in this price range. Service from Wootware was exceptional as every other time I've dealt with this company.

Nice display, vibrant colors, not sore to the eyes and enjoyable. Its quite heavy and to be mounted on the stand. Compared to other displays, the pixelation on 1440p is not even noticeable if the display is 60cm away from you. Playing mostly strategy games and the menu icons and UI is perfectly scaled, no problem with letters being small or having to manually upscale UI. Much better visibility in FPS games and nice to have this display for RPG games.

165hz over DisplayPort is amazing... Not the sharpest display at 1440p due to the monitor being 31.5 inches, but otherwise, it is lovely. Also, Freesync not enabled by default. Stand with Vesa mount is rock solid and easy to use.

Nice display, especially for the money. Only "issue" is because of the added inches, the screen has somewhat noticeable pixels when compared to my 27" Dell S2716DG. Something I wasn't really anticipating.

Overall though this a great display with good value.

The colours are vivid, its 32" size is more than big enough for any type of use, and its curve isn't so aggressive as to be overly noticeable. Very happy with this monitor - Close to R5k less than the MSI screen I looked at. Fantastic for work and still a great screen for gaming - tested it on my pc, xbox one x and ps4. Not as "flashy" as some other gaming monitors but really great quality and build. Would recommend it to anyone.

I mainly use this monitor for work. This is a massive upgrade coming from a 27-inch 1080p monitor. The high resolution and high refresh rate definitely improved my gaming experience substantially. Around this price point, this is probably the best monitor available in South Africa at the moment.

This was a pretty big upgrade for me in terms of pricing as well as my first Curved monitor. I was a little worried, but from the moment I opened the box, and felt the build quality, I felt like my money was well spent! The screen size is massive, so if you have a small desk, maybe hold off till you have a larger desk, but the picture quality on the 1440p is amazing, the curve is ever so subtle, but after a day of use, felt natural and amazing. Gaming is a whole new experience, and my design work space has more room then I know what to do with. I feel it was a worthy purchase!

I've been looking around for a gaming monitor for a while now, mostly looking for reasons to justify paying the prices of these types of monitors. I finally decided on this monitor since it ticked most of the boxes. I have also done my research on this monitor, and I agree with all the reviews, it's is a very good monitor for gaming. I love the fact that Freesync 2 is compatible with the nVidia G-sync on my gfx card, which works very well since my rig is not yet able to max out the 165Hz refresh rate at 1440p that this monitor is capable of. Colours are vivid and accurate. I believe this monitor will last me a very long time based on the specs, which, to me, adds a lot to the value. I am extremely happy and satisfied with my purchase, which was also topped off by the excellent service from Wootware.

The reason you're reading this is that you are very interested in the monitor but just need that last confirmation to pull the trigger. Do not hesitate, the monitor is well worth the asking price and the quality is sublime.

The build quality is fantastic /
Colour accuracy and black levels are as good as my OLED tv screen. They are that good. /
Response times are decent while gaming around the 60fps range, but the screen really comes into it's own at higher framerates. Ghosting diminishes and the play is buttery smooth. Just bear this is mind.

I do architectural drafting and rendering while also being a regular gamer and I am giddy every time I sit to work or play.

This is the best all round monitor, for the price range, that you can buy. IMO.

5/5 for productivity and work. 3/5 for gaming (depending on the game). I gave it a 3 because its marketed as a "Gaming" monitor. This is a productivity monitor that does OK at gaming.

I have used a Spyder 5 pro to calibrate the monitor. This monitor calibrated is a 5/5 stars for any graphics work and works great for any kind of productivity. Pixelation is no issue because the idea of this size is not to sit too close. The added desk space between you and the monitor is great for a lot of work and productivity use cases.

As a Gaming monitor. Single bad thing about this monitor is the response time in dark parts of any game. This means that movement in dark areas are very blurry regardless how good your frame rate is. Response time in dark areas are as bad as 21ms. This means that even when you hit 165Hz, the response time blur will make it look like its running at about 70Fps. This is sad because VA panels like this one looks amazing in dark areas due to the outstanding contrast ratios compared to IPS and TN panels. The good news is that most competitive games are bright. Games like CS GO, Rocket League and Valorant set to Extreme does not show much signs of overshoot/ghosting and the response is smooth enough that you won't really be at a disadvantage.

Conclusion:
Buy this monitor if you work more on it than game.
Don't buy as a primary gaming monitor, rather look for monitors with better response times.

Coming from a gaming dell G5 with 144hz display, which I chose over my gaming rig due to the display, to this beast of a monitor - really have no doubts about it. Blacks are deep, image is crisp, build quality is amazing, and colours are accurate (big plus since I do graphic design on it along with gaming!)

Highly recommended.
