Pretty good - Buyer, 8 June 2026

Delivers on marketing promises and review excitement, but viewing angles matter when sitting closer than 80cm. Colours adjusted to match my expectations of reality, but now I need to get used to this compared to an older monitor that had bad colours.

This is a great 4K panel at this price point. KVM works well with my two computers.

The panel stand doesn't have proper cable management (like Dell) besides some small plastic clip, so you will need some velcro strips to tidy things up. It comes with good quality HDMI and DisplayPort cables.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the panel came with UK and US power cables but no ZA power cable, so I had to drive to two different computer shops to buy one at R100 (an hour of my life gone!). The panel also didn't have protective film on the panel like other reviews showed and it had a large fingerprint at the top of the panel (not mine!), even though all the gigabyte stickers on the boxed indicate it was not opened yet. On the gigabyte site they also say it includes a USB-C cable, which mine did not, but I already own a couple of usb-c cables that can carry 4K/160hz so not a big deal (Gizzu GCPCC24020G-01 works great!).

Other than that, the panel works really well. I use it on Fedora/KDE with 200% dpi. I don't use the HDR feature (too bright and my other monitors don't like it). If I had to burn some more money, I would definitely buy 4 of these (and another gpu) to fill out my desk. I'm not a gamer.

I finally replaced my old 22-inch NEC monitor with this one, and it’s been a fantastic move.
For my setup, the size is absolutely perfect.

The first thing I noticed was how sharp and clear the text is.
The colors are also really vivid and bright, which makes a huge difference for daily work.
My favorite feature has to be the built-in KVM switch, it allows me to swap between my main PC and my laptop instantly without a mess of extra cables.

I did have one small scare, on the first day, there was a slight flicker.
I was ready to send it back, but it stopped on its own and hasn't happened since.
I’m hoping it was just a first day quirk and not a sign of future issues, but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

I’m not a gamer, so I can’t speak to how it handles high-speed gaming, but it's excellent for everyday use and multitasking for developers or anyone else.
