- Great - Heine, 12 January 2024
Using this on an Aorus B450 m/b with a Ryzen 5 3600. Installation using the supplied AM4 bracket could not have been easier and even with the single fan it keeps the 3600 below 50 degrees even when working hard. Remember to test the temps after installation with Ryzen Master and then to tweak your m/b fan curve accordingly in the BIOS settings. It looks pretty good as well. Great service from Wootware as always.
- ID-Cooling SE-207-XT Slim - Tyrell, 31 July 2023
I'm very impressed with the ID Cooler range. It hits the sweet spot for Price, aesthetics & adaptability. The SE-207-XT Slim is a very nice addition to my system.
In a day in age where we have 6 to 8 core CPU's its important to upgrade your CPU cooler, especially when equipping a new graphics card that will make drive your CPU to higher temperatures. - Pretty Great - Anthony, 21 June 2023
This cooler is solid. On my Ryzen 5 2600 this is super quiet. Maxing out at 40°C while drawing 80W and its still barely audible. Would recommend over an AIO for a lower power CPU.
- Excellent recommendation on a budget - Tommy, 6 May 2023
I recently began upgrading my PC, moving from a Ryzen 5 1600 AF to a Ryzen 7 5700X. I opted for the SE-207-XT Slim as a budget recommendation from Wootware after I emailed them for some advice. The performance so far has left me extremely impressed. My 1600 AF with the stock cooler would idle around 45-degrees and now the 5700X with the SE-207-XT is idling at around 35-degrees and I've seen it as slow as 31-degrees. It is also a lot quieter than the stock 1600 AF cooler, with the RPM around 860. So far under load in games, I've seen it peak at 75-degrees. This is in the same environment, so no change in the case, room or case fans. The solid black finish also looks great to me if you are not too concerned with RGB.
The one negative I did notice is the size. While it does have cutouts on the bottom side of the cooler fins, you won't get a tall RAM stick in to the first DIMM slot, so be careful with that. For reference I am using a B450M Mortar Max mobo, so on a larger board you may not have any issues.
Overall, if you are on a budget, this is definitely a cooler to consider. - 25-30 degrees cooler - CompleteNoob, 25 April 2023
Forgot the sticker! But yeah it cools 25-30 degrees better than stock in most applications and I’m using an old steel case with ZERO airflow fans.(waiting to get a fractal north but that’s big money). Not much clearance for vrm heatsinks and my ram though which getting 2 fans is proper tough
- Oustanding little cooler - Russel, 3 February 2023
You can even cram a phanteks T30 in the middle for some extra performance per RPM, fits in compact cases and RAM compatibility is great too - then there's the price, this is literally only a little more than a single Noctua fan
If you have an SFF case and need a cooler and this fits, it's well worth it - Gem of a Cooler - Nirun, 16 January 2023
Great value for money for a twin tower cooler. Clips are included for 3 fans and a 2 way 4pin PWM splitter, although a 3 way splitter would have been nice. Tube of thermal paste is included as well. If you are using 4 ram sticks, depending on the height of your sticks, you might run into issues - 2 sticks of any height no problem at all. However, both towers have cut outs allowing extra height for your 4th ram stick. Installation was super easy. Included fan is very quiet at higher RPMS. Temps dropped 10% from stock 12th gen cooler. Intel CPU test, temps rose to 53% max when CPU was under stress. I later used to 2 fans and temps dropped further. There could be issues with 3 fans if your mobo has a built in IO shield and heatsinks on one end, and ram clearance issues on the other end. Solved both by getting fans to pop out a bit on the top, which really adds to the look in my books. I mainly bought this cooler for it's aesthetics to complement my all black build. Brushed aluminum tower covers just takes its up way above is its price point. Will definitely recommend this cooler and will be more eager try out more products from ID Cooling.
