great price for the quality, but like PB said, gets flooded and then the game/s stutters
played Ark Evoled and game would constantly lag due to that

Copy/paste data as expected, no issues to report. Easy to install, plug & play. Good product and doesn't give any faults compared to other SSD's used before.

Games these days have a tendency to completely rewrite all their files when doing an update. With the size of games in most cases being 50 - 100GB this means this drive will often enter into folding state when it runs out of cache if you tend to update more than one game at once. From my testing the cache on this drive is about 75GB when the drive is empty, possibly proportionally less as it gets filled. In folding state the drive halts to a speed of 3MB/s for 20 seconds after which it will run at 400MB/s again for 10 seconds before folding back to 3MB/s for another 20 seconds and so on.

In the end I removed it from my PC and just got a WD SN580 2TB instead, which can be had for R200 more than what this drive costs at time of writing. Tomshardware review tested the WD SN580 to have a folding speed of 500MB/s+ when the cache runs out which is much more acceptable for me.

Its works as intended, mean its better than having a mechanical drive.
its my second Mushkin SSD, must say for budget build it works great, mainly got it due to the old drive being close to 9years, and scared that it fails and lose all of the info on it. also
Ark loads so much quicker with it, lol
would recommend if you're not into big names and just need a SSD to work.

Good product so far, the moment I received it I cloned my 1tb mechanical to it and then proceeded to download a ton of things to fill up the remaining 2tb space. This SSD handles it all quite well providing decent speeds, very good temps for a SSD in a warm laptop, and good health.
