Did not know about Wootbook until recently when i was looking for a lower spec laptop for family member. Ended up getting this for myself. Must say this laptop is amazing. It's specs are amazing for the price. Its great quality. Runs like a beast. Really is an amazing machine. Runs a little hot after a long game session but too be expected. (do not put on your lap - will have toasted legs :P )

Service / Putting together of laptop / Delivery was super fast. It was well packed and protected which I liked.

Can recommend this to anyone wanted i nice high performance laptop for gaming or for overpowered general use :)

Coming from a Dell G15 5525 I had big expectations primarily for the cooling as after a few minutes of gaming my laptop would thermal throttle.

My main reason for replacing my laptop was the liquid metal cooling as I have seen reviews of other laptops where the heat transfer was noticeably increased resulting in better temperatures. The Wootbook ultra Y16 with RTX4080 is a beast when it comes to gaming with older games hitting my self set 120fps cap with ease. Even Cyberpunk with an expended session and hardware unboxes ray traced settings saw the game hitting over 80fps on average with a dlss quality 2560x1600 resolution. Even guild wars 2 runs good on this system with the medium model limits. None of the heat is vented above the keyboard but rather at the sides and the back.

The downsides I would say is that the monitor is not g-sync/freesync. The outputs at the back is hdmi for the rtx but I also couldnt get gsync working on an external monitor this way. The usb-c port is linked to the intel graphics only. Another minor nitpick is the keypad does not have an enter-key on the righthand side but this is a gaming laptop first and foremost.
