- Great screen for a steal! - Muhammed Omar , 29 April 2026
I took a lot of time to research this screen. Found out the original manufacturers and investigated their other products as well as looking at every single review on the product page.
I finally got the screen and kept my fingers crossed that nothing would be wrong as I live in Botswana and returning the screen would be another major hassle. The screen has blown me away. For the price you pay you get something worth double the price in terms of performance, yes it might have those cheapish plastics on the back but features and the screen itself are amazing. Gaming felt quite good, makes you feel completely immersed in the game, wish I had this screen when I first started skyrim in 2011. My main reason for purchasing the screen was for online gaming, I purchased it to be better at Apex Legends and the response time shows, I feel slightly faster with my responses after having set up everything. Speakers on the screen are not great but not bad either, I tried expedition 33 on the speakers and the music was still good. I love the screen being able to slide vertically or even tilt horizontally. Screen is also great for work as you have a large amount of space to use. I am sure you have heard the saying bang for your buck, THIS IS REALLY THE BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS!!! GET IT!!!
Cons:
-Nothing major but my screen had a few barely noticeable chips on the outer plastic edge of the screen, not enough to throw me off, I had even forgotten about them
-I have seen a lot of people complain about the interface and its true, the interface and button take a bit of time getting used it. Wootware should look into improving this.
Note: use the display cable that comes with to get the full 180hz and enable freesync in screen settings then enable gsync on pc settings - You get what you pay for. - Ruan, 5 March 2026
I’d like to start this review by making one thing clear, this monitor is exceptional value for money.
The Visual Experience:
I upgraded from an old 24" 144Hz 1080p display, and the change was massive. The ultrawide format is fantastic, and the jump to 1440p makes a world of difference. I primarily use this screen for gaming, and it feels like I’ve been missing out all these years by not owning an ultrawide. I initially struggled to decide between a second monitor or a single ultrawide, but I’m happy to say that the ultrawide was definitely the right choice.
Panel Performance & Quality:
However, as far as VA panels go, this is far from the best. The most notable issue is a darkening effect when scrolling text, which is particularly visible with white text on a black background (dark theme users, beware). My unit also arrived with a dead pixel on the far right edge of the panel. To be honest, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, though it would have been a dealbreaker if it were more central.
Build & Ergonomics:
The build quality reflects the budget price; it’s made of cheap-feeling plastic and lacks a premium touch. The bezels are also quite thick, measuring just over half a centimeter.
My biggest gripe, however, is the on-screen display (OSD) menu and the joystick controller. It isn't intuitive at all and takes some getting used to—for instance, a long press is power, while pulling it to the right functions as "enter." The menu itself is lackluster and offers very few settings. Additionally, when you power it on, you’re blasted with a bright white splash screen that can be quite jarring if your eyes aren't adjusted. As for the stand, it does the job, but it can be a bit wobbly if the desk is bumped.
Final Verdict
Even with those caveats, this screen is worth it. It’s fantastic for both gaming and productivity. You certainly get what you pay for, but in this case, the price is incredibly low for the performance you receive. My closest comparison would be the Samsung Odyssey G55T 34", which has worse specs across the board despite being nearly double the price.
If you want a 1440p ultrawide on a budget, get this screen. You won’t be disappointed. - Unbeatable Value For Money - WB, 1 March 2026
As the title said. Good luck finding an equivalent specced monitor at less than double the price. You won't. Specs wise, these are, for the price, insanely well specced.
Replaced a 3-monitor mismatched rigmarole with 2 of these puppies, and I can tell you, I have a lot less eye strain and have, effectively, 4 monitors to work on now, due to the combined width of two of these.
One of these monitors came out of the box faulty, so I had to return it, but, as always, Wootware's service was stellar, fair and I think I had the replacement in a week and a half from initial order receipt if I'm recalling correctly. Wootware is, hands down, simply unbeatable as far as customer service goes - a rarity these days.
All in, very satisfied with my 2 monitors. If you're a developer or a trader who spends 12 hours+ in front of your rig, you'll love these. Highly recommended. - Beautiful when you use the DP cable - Ryan, 9 February 2026
Cracker screen, great value, make sure you use a DP cable (I'm plugged into USB-C on MAC). I like that it has the VEGA mount as well, I'd like to mount on the wall as the stand does take up some space
- One dead pixel and washy colors - Shaun, 6 February 2026
It arrived with a dead pixel almost in left middle side of the screen. The colors also seem a bit washed. Like white isn't actually showing as white.
So far. I wouldn't recommend it. - My first monitor, and its amazing, for the price - Matthew, 6 February 2026
Never had such a great, simple, powerful and large monitor, and for the cost this is amazing. Wootware recommend by my industry IT colleagues, and Im going to further recommend Wootware and their custom items.
- Good value - Deon, 6 February 2026
Specifications:
Great refresh rate, great response time, excellent colour, excellent value for money. This was my first curved monitor and it does make a huge difference. The curve's diameter is not overly wide, which I actually prefer. For gaming this really is a great monitor especially for the price-point. Comes with built-in sound that is not very good.
Physical:
Sturdy design, very interesting and well-constructed height adjuster which I was surprised about. You can tilt it both horizontally and vertically. It does come with a DisplayPort cable which is great, not a very long one though. The table-top bracket that comes with it looks quite good as well, but the screen does wobble a bit when bumped, which does not bother me.
Negatives:
1. The monitor's built-in menu is horrible and only works when something is actually connected to it and works, in other words you cannot set the input of the monitor without it already displaying something on either HDMI or DP, this is very weird and haven't seen any other monitor that does this.
2. Another menu fault - you cannot adjust all the settings in the built-in menu and the instructions on the use of the menu are very unclear in the booklet.
3. Not very good built-in sound. Would not use it for gaming at all, at most to play a video or audio you quickly want to listen to without putting on a headset or desktop speakers, but honestly would still rather use a cheap Logitech Desktop speaker set and would be 100x happier.
4. It is a rebranded monitor, which I don't mind due to the price but it does mean there are physical things on the monitor which are almost like the "poverty buttons" you find in vehicles, where it looks like the monitor is supposed to have a button or USB input at certain places but does not have them. Not a deal breaker at all and you don't notice them when using the monitor.
Summary:
This monitor is excellent value for money. It does have its disadvantages, of which the biggest one is it's built-in menu, the rest are acceptable. For this price point there is nothing else that would beat it. Excellent for gaming and would highly recommend, especially when you consider that the closest alternative with the same specs is more than double the price. Support-wise Wootware has been quite a good experience. This is the first time I am purchasing from them but all-in-all they are very efficient, even when I asked them stupid questions I had as a result of my lack of reading properly, they responded in quickly and in kind. I would recommend the monitor, the disadvantages are things I believe anybody will be good with and a lot of people won't even notice them. - Wootvision 34W is awesome - Calvin, 5 February 2026
Thank you Wootware again. My second purchase was just as easy as the first one. All my questions were answered and the process completed in no time at all. The Wootvision 34W is an amazing monitor and I am completely satisfied. Best value for the price.
- Great value, but you get what you pay for. - Koot, 2 February 2026
I love the monitor, and would happily purchase it again, or recommend it to anyone who asks, but at the end of the day the interface of the monitor, along with its competition cost it two stars.
The menu offers very little customization, with many options being blocked. I have also run into an issue where if the monitor is not powered on when the system is powered on, the system will detect the monitor, however the monitor will not display anything.
All in all, it is a great monitor, which offers incredible value for money and which I would definitely recommend to anyone who asks, but there are similarly specked monitors (not at the same price) which can do everything that this monitor does better, and the UI in the menu can be irritating at times. - Almost an incredible product. - Chris, 1 February 2026
I won’t go into all the features, as the monitor does what it says it does, and overall I’m happy with it. I did, however, notice a few stuck pixels shortly after setting it up. I was able to resolve this by running a web-based pixel refresh tool for about 12 hours, which thankfully worked in my case — but tools like this are very much a last resort and don’t usually have a high success rate.
I’m genuinely excited to see more locally branded tech products on the market, but I think it’s worth mentioning this experience for anyone considering this monitor. Had I known beforehand that this could happen, I might have thought twice before purchasing. I don’t know how common this issue is, but it’s something potential buyers may want to keep in mind. - I got a gaming PC 4 A steal - Wesley, 14 January 2026
The kind people at Wootware spent most of last year assisting me with selecting parts and building and designing my PC. The salesperson explained the best options based on what I could afford, and once we had come to an agreement, I had a strange request: to have them hold the PC for me, as it was a surprise gift.
After three to four months of helping me and holding the PC, they finally sent it to me. Unfortunately, the monitor I originally selected was no longer available, but instead they sent me a better monitor they had on hand at no extra cost.
These people were so nice and patient with me that, even at the end of all this, I tried to leave a tip—but they rejected it and sent my money back, saying they do this job for the love of the game. Honestly, I am very grateful and appreciative.
The PC is perfect by most standards. I think a single fan may have been installed backwards, but other than that it was an easy setup on my part and an overall great experience. - Fantastic - Marco, 15 December 2025
Was a bit worried, but I am super impressed with how well it works and how well it looks. I did not know at first about the refresh rate only fully working at 180Hz when using Display Port, until I read on the manual that I needed to plug in DP.
So just fair warning, make sure to use DP if you want to make use of the full refresh rate and resolution. - Absolutely Worth it!!! - Dillan, 11 December 2025
I didn't know I needed a 34" UWQHD until I needed a 34" UWQHD, Colour is great and for 180hz its a phenomenal price. Also has a speaker built in if you're after that and big thanks to Craig for the speedy replies!
Absolutely loving it so far :) - Better than anything I was expecting - Ivan, 9 December 2025
I was looking for an ultrawide 34 inch and was leaning towards the Samsung Odyssey G5 34 or worst case the Xiaomi 34 inch because of their 1000R and 1500R curves but the 1800R curve from the Wootvision is actually perfect. It also boasts a higher refresh rate and upgraded ports. This monitor is amazing for PC and a must for PS5 if you want a 120Hz refresh rate since this monitor was the only one that had HDMI 2.1 ports compared to older ultrawides I was looking at. Best ultrawide at the best price point available
- Super Awesome - Thapelo, 5 December 2025
Stop wasting your money with expensive displays buy this one instead
- WootVision 34W V180 34" UWQHD Curved Gaming Monitor - Mpho, 1 December 2025
Perfect for Work and Play
I’ve been using the WootVision 34W V180 for work, and it’s been a game‑changer. The ultra‑wide 34" curved screen gives me plenty of space to multitask, making spreadsheets, documents, and design work much easier to manage. The 3440x1440 resolution keeps text sharp and visuals clear, while the vibrant colors make presentations and creative projects look professional.
The 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time aren’t just great for gaming — they also make everyday tasks feel smooth and responsive. The curve helps reduce eye strain during long hours, and FreeSync keeps everything fluid when switching between apps or streaming.
Overall, this monitor balances productivity and entertainment perfectly. It’s reliable, immersive, and makes my work setup feel premium. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a monitor that excels in both work and leisure.
- Excellent - Ethan, 29 November 2025
Excellent monitor for the work.
I was a bit hesitant at first when buying the monitor as I mainly wanted to purchase it for work and upgrade my setup from dual 27" monitors to an ultra-wide 34" and a 27" but was not sure how much more useful the 34" inch would be and I have been blown away by how much more useful it actually is.
I often work across many tabs and windows at the same time and this allows space for an extra window for me to work on (which does not sound like that much of a difference but it is)
Would definitely recommend for work if you find yourself switching tabs or workspaces often. - Excellent value for money - Hendrik, 26 November 2025
Great screen for productivity and gaming. I just played a few rounds of Battlefield and it was awesome and immersive. Text is crisp, colours decent and the 180Hz refresh plus 1ms response time is good for gaming.
- Exceptional Performance Exceeded All Expectations - DtankZA, 15 November 2025
I received my monitor today, and I am thoroughly impressed. The quality and performance have surpassed my highest hopes. After rigorous testing across my entire game library, the results are stunning. The color reproduction is vibrant, the graphics are incredibly smooth, and I've experienced absolutely no screen tearing or other issues. It is, without exaggeration, a monumental upgrade.
I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor to any serious gamer. A sincere commendation to Wootware for sourcing and providing such an outstanding product. The experience has been so positive that I am already planning to purchase two more. - Great monitor for the price - Kieran , 12 November 2025
I don't use the monitor for gaming, mainly for work. Also running Mac.
I have a north Bauo wall mount (VESA) mount and the provided hardware that comes with the monitor makes it very easy to adapt to the mount.
For the price very nice monitor, can easily fit two panels on the one screen. I went from dual 32" monitors to the single ultrawide and no real loss in efficiency.
Only issue is when I share my screeen my colleugues complain the text is too small. IYKYK :D - Good monitor, great price. - Augustin, 8 November 2025
Good monitor for the price. Lost 1 star due to manual misprint, no colour profile and unavailable panel info.
4 issues experienced:
- To enable g-sync you need to enable AMD freesync in the menu on the monitor, then setup g-sync in Nvidia control panel
- Monitor manual says that a HDMI cable is included, website says HDMI cable not included. The website was correct.
- I asked Support what make of panel this is, while trying to find more detailed specs during testing. Support did not / was unable to provide the requested feedback
- No colour profile available to be loaded in windows
Overall happy with its performance and it appears to be a good replacement for my 27' 144hz Dell. - Just buy it!! - Lizwe, 5 November 2025
It's the best monitor I have had, coming from a 4k 27inch, and is surprisingly bright. It's perfect for the price. My only annoyance is the menu button and lack of dedicated power button. The menu is terrible and I don't know how many times I've switched off the damn thing trying to navigate the menu. In short, the panel is excellent, the menu button is cheap, also have the white wootware logo on the front.
- super cheap plastic frame - good screen - Nicholas, 5 November 2025
the screen itself is good
The frame is comically cheap plastic
purchased this to replace my wife's 2x 23 inch old monitors in her office, she is loving it
You cannot beat the price
I do wish they charged a bit more and used an aluminum or better-quality plastic for the frame - Premium Quality at a Perfect Price - Wayne, 3 November 2025
Just picked up a 34" 3440x1440p 180Hz ultrawide monitor — and honestly, it’s a stunner. The build quality feels premium from the moment you set it up, solid and well-crafted. The image quality absolutely blows away my Dell 2560x1440p 165Hz display — colors are richer, contrast is sharper, and the overall clarity is next level.
The extra width and refresh rate make everything smoother, whether I’m working or gaming. It’s loaded with great features, and the company’s customer service was excellent. Delivery was quick and the courier guy was professional and friendly.
For the price, I can’t see why anyone would pay more — this monitor easily competes with models double its cost. Super happy with the purchase.
- Best buy ever - Willie, 2 November 2025
I was looking for an upgrade on my lg 25inch ultra wide and was considrering a 27inch but then cam across this monitor, price to spec its the best buy out there nothing comes close. the screen is amazing colors are good, brightness is good and i have it in a room with alot of windows and during the day i have no problems with seeing on it. The size and curve is amazing. It also has small speakers built in. All and all i am very happy with this buy and for anyone reading this, just do it. buy it, you wont regret it!!
- Great monitor, but - Ernst, 31 October 2025
Great monitor for the price, but I have one dead/frozen pixel. With the A+ pixel standard I have to just except that it will not be replaced. I am frustrated that I have to send the monitor for them to review and then they have to check. Then only for it not being replaced. I'm not close to Cape Town and the courier will take 3 weeks for a round trip to Cape Town and back
- WootVision 34 180hz - Ruan, 24 October 2025
The monitor is good and i love the build quality of all the parts. The stand is well made with some cable managing clips at the back to help keep it tidy. I love the fact that the stand provides a option to have the monitor be vertical and horizontal. The only thing that surprised me was the speakers. Yes there is no speakers mentioned on the items description you do get built in speakers with the monitor. Is nice to have but i would not recommend using them as the sound quality does not match the quality of the overall build. Monitor 10/10 stand 10/10
- 34” 180hz WootVision - Julie , 24 October 2025
A really really really amazing monitor!
I’ve had it for a week and can work 3 tabs COMFORTABLY on the screen, gaming on it is even better, the immersion feel it gives is amazing.
The 1440p pixel density is amazing and you can see a big difference from 1080p.
The stand is very adjustable and you can have it stand however u like.
If you were not to sure about it and still looking for good reviews, MY GOSH take this as ur sign that UR SOLD!
10/10 from me, from packaging, to setting up, to connection, to playtime, to working. Everything was amazing - Perfect buy - JD, 23 October 2025
I was in two minds for very long about this monitor. I'm very happy, I do a lot of editing and the screen gives me near perfect color management. Would definitely buy another one. For the price and what you get there is nowhere in SA that you will find a better deal (trust me, I tried)
- Very impressed - Jaco, 23 October 2025
Arrived much earlier than expected.
The ultrawide screen makes a noticeable difference for both gaming and general use. Display quality is very impressive and the screen is bright enough to work on in the day. BG6 looks amazing and city builder is just so much better with the wider viewing area. - Very impressed - Mohammad, 16 October 2025
The ultrawide screen makes a noticeable difference for both gaming and general use — it’s great for multitasking and creates a nice sense of immersion in games. The 180 Hz refresh rate keeps motion smooth and responsive, which is especially nice in fast-paced titles.
The image quality is quite good for the price, with strong contrast and decent brightness. Colors look vibrant enough for everyday use, and the curved design feels natural once you get used to it. - Fantastic - Jean, 15 October 2025
Bought this monitor when it was on a special for pre-order. I went from dual monitors, 27" Dell 165hz IPS with a cheapie 22" second monitor... to this. (replaced both screens with this one).
What a fantastic experience! I'm so happy I upgraded.
Notes:
* Fantastic immersion feeling (currently playing bf6)
* Better performance in my case (i'm cpu bottlenecked and going from 2x monitors to this one only, my fps improved - worth to take into account)
* Response time setting - choose medium. (I did the UFO test and the highest setting has black overshoot on cyan test, but the medium only has slight overshoot, def best choice)
* HDR - just put it on
* Gamma - I went with 2.4 personally and not the 2.2, deeper blacks & contrast is so nice for my gaming experience
* VESA mount - at first I thought the mounting bracket was too big for the monitor, but wootware conveniently included screw extenders in the box. Added those on and vesa mount screwed in perfectly. NICE touch and attention to detail, props to wootware!
* Curve - at 1800r it was such a nice upgrade from the flat panel I had. Def recommend for vision comfort. My eyes are about 50-60cm from monitor, no weird visual effect on wide screen edges at all.
* Comfort - hard to explain, but instant visual comfort.
* Delivery - effortless next day delivery, arrived 2 weeks before expected arrival date. Having wootware action the delivery when they still had 2 weeks to 'spare', the kind of customer service I appreciate.
I'm extremely happy with the purchase, played a few hours last night (bf6) and no issues thus far. Will add/amend review if I feel I need to. This is a big win by wootware, happy customer.
