This is an awesome CPU.

I use this CPU to power an always-on Windows Server 2019 box, and it performs great - it handles a number of databases & virtual machines with no slowdown (yay for 12 cores). The included cooler keeps the CPU at around 45 - 55C during general use, which is fine, and the lighting looks great as well. I upgraded this box from a quad-core Intel i7 with a similar clock speed, and the machine went from being somewhat laggy to very snappy. Those extra cores really come in handy.

Coming from an Intel i5 4670k (4 core), this laughs at everything I throw at it. Games that used to use max CPU now barely touch 20%, and I can multi-task like mad again.
Since Ryzen 4 will be coming soonish, I went for more cores to future proof better. No regrets.
Runs very cool with my 360mm AIO (under 50).
Installation was also very easy. I used the stock cooler to test, and that was also easy to connect up.

Amazing CPU great bang for the buck. I mostly use my PC for video and animation production which has been great so far! 12 Cores is no joke and I'm glad I forked out for this one.

I primarily work in a field where rendering and modeling are quite Cpu intensive, the R9 just annihilates my previous speeds and makes work so much easier and reliable

Made the switch from Intel to AMD and I am not disappointed. CPU works well under load and easy to install. Wootware delivered on time and excellent after sales service.

This is an amazing processor, it draws next to no power at all so it runs perfectly on a MSI b450m mortar max. Hitting the rated clock speeds after a bios update and scoring around 7400 on Cinebench R20. AMD must be commended with what they achieved with Zen2. If you have the money, this CPU will definitely handle anything you can throw at it!
