The processor works like a dream but was disappointed that didn't get a Ryzen sticker with the processor in the box.

I have this processor on liquid cooling with a CrossHair 6 Hero board, with 3200 cl14 memory.

First of all, getting Ryzen to it's optimal performance takes some work. P-State overclocking is far more stable than normal overclocking on these chips, and with the right windows power state settings, it can give you 4050mhz boost on all cores and great performance instantly. Paired with good fast memory and an appropriate tune, you get amazing performance and stability.

The single core performance in the above configuration is so good, that the multi-threaded performance of 1600x is on par with the 1700 nearly 3800 on CPU-Z, and the single core performance is reliably measured at 465 on CPU-Z.

Cinebench comes in at 165 on single thread without a problem.

Great CPU. Great for overclocking, but do your homework and get good components to support it. RAM must be fast and single rank. Look for Samsung supported chips like the 16gb CL14 3200 Gskill kits. The tune is everything with these chips, but worth it.
