I love the fact that its an large IPS panel.
The integrated hub and KVM switch works perfectly for switching between my main pc and work mac, and charges the mac book via USB C.

I thought having the monitor buttons behind the monitor would be uncomfortable.
But I am pleasantly surprised how easy it is to use. Turned out its not an issue.

The monitor borders are nice and slim.
Only caveat I found because if this, is that my Logitech c922 does hang over a bit, covering a very small part of the top screen where the webcam rests.

Overall I am very happy with the monitor.

Very good quality monitor for work. Various improvements over older Ultrasharps (which I use for comparison); with the only drawback being that that previous models supported 2 DP ports... (hence the reason for the 4 stars). For the price a higher refresh rate or speakers would have sweetened the deal.

Noteworthy:
1. The switching of inputs is now behind the monitor.. (as too is the power button)
2. This change improves the appeal as the bezel is smaller (since it does not have to cater for buttons)
3. It however makes it a little tougher to switch screens (something I do a lot of) - as the interface is not only harder to reach but also "joystick" based.
4. Network relay worked out of the box, installation was straight forward

Great monitor! The improved contrast from the new IPS Black panel tech is noticeable --- especially since I spend most of my day coding in dark mode. Text is better defined and the 4k resolution makes everything razor sharp. I run my display at 200% and the scaling is excellent, looks great on both Mac and Windows.

Arguably, the natural scaling for a 27" display is 1440p running at 100%. But this won't give you the razor sharp text that makes long days reading code super easy. You definitely want to run your 4k monitor at 200% to get that Retina display look. Yes, if 5k displays were cheaper, then I'd grab one of those immediately and run it at 200% to get four real pixels for each logical pixel (aka Retina) --- but these are still way too expensive for my budget. On a 27" 5k screen, you'd get slightly more real estate, but on this 4k panel, the UI elements really are only slightly larger and very little real estate is lost.

The productivity features of this monitor are a game changer. A single USB Type-C cable connects your laptop and gives you up to 90W of power (powerful laptop users rejoice!) as well as access to the huge USB hub built into the monitor. The start-up times are exceedingly quick, making the experience smooth and seamless.

Overall a very polished product from Dell. Excellent quality as should be expected from the premium price.
