Was a bit skeptical at making the purchase at first since l had seen many bad reviews about gigabyte motherboards but decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed at all. Coming from a b250 + g4560 to a b550 + R5 5500 is a great upgrade. As a first time customer to wootware wasn't disappointed with their service, they updated the motherboard on my behalf and it booted hassle free

This motherboard looks very good with a few subtle rgb accents, it performs very well and the vrms stay cool. BIOS is pretty easy to config. it supports pcie gen 4 on any 5000 series cpus(except the 5500 and any 5000G series). also has good rear IO

This board is supper easy to build on has a lot of fan headers and some of the most important features one could want at a price that wont break the bank. great looking as well with an easy to navigate BIOS

Good board overall, sleek design, with great features.

When you see mid-range you tend to think "No, I want this pc to run smooth and give me ALL the frames". Relax this board will give you the fps you want, it just won't allow overclocking as much as the higher-end chipsets.

This board is great for someone building their first pc. It's compatible with intergrated graphics, it has clearly marked headers (connectors) and it works perfectly with Phanteks RGB. I plonked a Ryzen 5 3600 into this baby with a 750Ti (omg old, I know) and it gives me great performance with gaming in titles like Dota2, CSGO, Civilization, Total War: Rome Remastered.

The BIOS is easy to use, with fan control and profile setup made foolproof.

Would recommend this any time.

No compatibility issues at all. I'm very happy with the feature set on this board for the price.
I'm not really into RGB, but the lighting built into the board is a little underwhelming if that's something you're looking for.

I paired this board with a 5800X and it runs perfectly! You can even disable to RGB in the BIOS!
This is my first time running AMD and I'm very happy.
This board and a 5800X even runs Windows 7! Yay!
Note to new buyers, this board says it is the B550 AORUS ELITE, but I got the B550 AORUS ELITE V2, which gives up one back panel USB3 connector for a front panel USB-C connector.

This board is sleek, minimal RGB (which I prefer) and has a clear and decent BIOS. XMP profile for TridentZ RAM changed with no problems.

This motherboard is fairly cheap for a B550, has all the normal functioning of a B550 board, and looks stunning! Only downside I have found is that other boards have more fan headers, but with one being able to attach five fans (including a cpu fan and AIO pump) this motherboard is plenty good enough for your average user. You may need to use the q-flash function if installing a 5000 series CPU though, but this is fairly easy to do and does not need one to own an older Ryzen CPU to do.

Listen, i do love this motherboard. It looks amazing with my set up, one issue i had recently was that my PSU blew up and now the LED lights flash when i turn my power supply off and on.
Otherwise i recommend this board too anyone looking for a ryzen cpu upgrade (zen 2 and up).

Great motherboard, love the all round colour scheme of the pcb. VRM design and thermals are great and very high quality. XMP profile for my G.Skill Trident Z 3600 MHz loaded like a charm. Very solid motherboard all round and comes with PCIe 4.0 support.

I own a msi x370 krait and this board outshines it in terms of vrm thermals.
I have it paired with a 3600 and Team ddr3600 2x8 sticks.
Only issue I picked up so far is that it is not compatible with my ripjaws memory kit-
G.Skill F4-3600C18D-16GVK Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3600MHz CL18 1.35V Black Desktop Memory
I was getting constant reboots until I swapped the ram, which is strange considering the msi x370 is compatible with the ripjaws, Wotware should perhaps look into this cause most people like ripjaws but they might hit a snag if paired together.

I was anxious as I'm not usually an early adopter of new tech/models of PC hardware but I have to say that this B550 board is better than I expected. VRM is pretty decent and the CPU temps stay in a good and safe range even while I'm max loading the CPU for rendering (using stock wraith cooler). Great buy!
