I originally intended on building a system with an i5-10400 but then I came across this CPU and realised that if I cut some corners elsewhere, I could afford it. It's blazing fast and regularly punches around 4.5Ghz. I use it for music production and some basic video editing.

Although I feel the 9100F is great value for money when I bought it, the 9700 is a noticeable upgrade in some games. On the 9100F experiences frame stutters on some newer games, but on the same PC with the same settings the 9700 does not. Would recommend the newest BIOS be installed on the motherboard you are using.

Picked this up as a 2nd choice as the 9600k was out of stock, happy I did, great gaming performance, if you're not going to overclock then don't overlook the non k models, great value for money
