lol games are big now

Actually i ran out of space due to sim stuff , so i desperately needed an upgrade
currently this is the best price per TB i could find as of march 2026, and the speed is alright

Really happy it gets the job done. No issues, only remark but its obviously not as fast as SSD so just consider that if you moving or accessing big files at a time. In my case its a digital book shelf.

Great replacement for my ageing drives.

I bought this hard drive to free up space on my PC. It is working great for that purpose and time will tell how long it will last.

I mean, it's a HDD. It turns on when you plug it in. What else do you need to know? Just buy it, will give you lots of space for that "Documents" folder of yours.

I host a little media server and this was a great price for the product and as always Wootware's support is top notch. Highly recommended company to deal with.

I have five of these in a RaidZ1 (Raid 5) configuration. On a single empty drive I get a write speed of 190 MiB/s and that speed decreases linearly to 90 MiB/s when the drive is full. Read speeds look exactly the same as write. I got these results by running `badblocks -b 4096 -wsv /dev/sd{X}` on the drives before adopting them into my nas.

The drives are quiet and the temperature hovers between 30 and 35 degrees c in a fairly enclose space with a 140mm fan pulling air out of it.

Remember the good old days when Eskom was giving you power 24/7? The Seagate does, and has 8TB of memory space for all those infrequent moments when you need to access the good times.
