Honestly a super sick little laptop, I needed a machine to game while I was overseas for a while, and this thing ran through POE2 at native resolution really well, it also played a bit of COD B06 / warzone, but did well with that as well.

Only issues I have is with the wifi card, being a bit iffy with distance to a router, and sometimes getting big drops, also the speakers are not great, they're tinny and down firing, so I would investigate in some earphones / headphones with a dac/amp works out well. I've also done a bit of coding on it, and it works really well, also some basic fusion 360 and again it does really well.

It's definitely worth grabbing if you want a reasonably sized gaming laptop and also want to game. Battery life is okay, but you cannot really expect more.

I have had my wootbook for about 8 months now, and I honestly can not recommend it enough.

I opted for the 32gb Ram and 1TB SSD option and it has honestly been a pleasure using the laptop for my day-to-day activities.

For gaming performance, it runs all your newest releases very smoothly, but don't expect a 60fps when trying to run Ultra settings with ray tracing in games such as cyberpunk, when you're focusing on performance and you don't worry about the aesthetics too much then you're set.

Additionally, the Woot team has their own custom software that comes pre installed on the laptop allowing you to modify a variety of settings, such as the keyboard backlight, fan speeds, overclocking etc.

My only complaint is that the battery life drains very quickly when you don't enable power saving and switch it to Balanced mode.

If you are looking for a gaming/work laptop, this would be my honest recommendation 10/10 times. They really deliver a good product at a very reasonable price compared to what you can get from other vendors with the same specs.

Just a bit sad found out from a friend they are getting new models with in the next 2-3weeks and i just bought it a week ago.

plays froza horizon 4 and other games with out any problems (rtx 4060 + 32gb ram)

I've had the laptop for a bit over a week now, and I'm very happy with it. Build quality is very good, everything worked out of the box, and I'm happy with the overall quality.

I bought the Ryzen 7 / RTX 4060 / 64gb ram /2tb M.2 version (with a second M2 that Wootware happily installed too). I'm currently running Linux (PopOS) without any issues at all - keyboard backlighting even works on Linux!

I'll update this review in the future once I've had more time to stress test the machine, but so far I'm very happy with both the product, and all the support from Wootware!

Will never buy anything else but wootbook. Bought two X16 laptops a year ago and now the Y16 Ultra. The built quality is really good and the cooling and internals are better than what you will get from Brand names.

One small request - please alert customers to the fact that the laptop is/isn't configured for facial and/or fingerprint recognition. My previous Wootbook did have facial recognition and this new one doesn't have it. I would have preferred it to have been given the option before my purchase.

As long as Wootware continues to sell the Wootbook, I don't really see any benefit in getting a gaming laptop from a "brand name" company. The Wootbook ticks all the boxes, and more!

Hey, I love it. I've brought multiple products, keyboards, mouses, headsets, so on... now I've bought a wootbook and couldn't be happier. Lots of battery, charges fast, was all assembled for me by Henko from Wootware, shot btw... the price was great, with my work I live abroad in the US and Europe and it is not possible to find a laptop nor deal this good abroad. The laptop runs like a beast, fast, serious performance with graphics, and yeah, the screen size feels so good. ya, no lekka. They also send it ultra protected, so no worries of having to tussle with anyone over emails for damage during trip. Only thing I didn't get is a sleeve to protect it in, would recommend that and tink it should be an add on option. Lastly, I went for the exended three year warranty which for this beast is crossing you T's and dotting your I's, just do it I rate. For clarity sakes, I added on 32 GB memory, 2 tb storage. Yea, proud South Africa has company like this one to rep us. Support.
