General notes: Good price to performance ratio, only for games that aren't super CPU intensive. Experiencing some input lag in intensive games. Always running at 80-100%. Definitely recommend going for the 8th gen 500 or 600 Intel CPU instead.

Pros: You'll be hard pressed to find a better price for a mid-range locked gaming CPU. For general use, the heat paste and stock cooler that comes with it are more than suitable and you won't need to spend extra money on a cooler.

Cons: The overclock-able version of this CPU is a vast improvement on this model. It will help to smooth out some of the infuriating input lag caused by intensive CPU loads in games such as PUBG or when you're rocking a multi-monitor setup and would like to do something on your second monitor when a game is running.
