I was very hesitant in moving on from my RTX 3080 and was caught in 2 minds between this and the 9070XT but with the prices being close enough between the 2, I decided on Nvidia for the better DLS and Frame Gen.

So far, I cannot complain at all, I have had previous Palit cards and each have been great, low temps and headroom for Overclocking at a more reasonable price than many of their competitors. This is no different.

In addition, the card looks great when vertically mounted. I was also hesitant as the gamerock designed has changed however when in the case and lit up, it looks amazing (if you are into over the top RGB that is).

I wish the GPU market was in an overall better place but this is a great option for where we are now.

It was the first time I custom build a PC, and a gaming rig at that. I had initially decided on Radeon RX 7900 GRE, as it's been described as a gaming beast, but it was sold out, so I had to re-think my build. Long story short, the 5070 Ti was released, and I went for it. I'm super happy with the performance of this GPU. I've given it the hard task to run Hogwarts Legacy, a very demanding AAA title, and on 1440p I average round 250 FPS in the open world, (with spikes well over 300) on full DLSS, and Ray Tracing, on Ultra settings. Elden Ring, which is optimized and capped at 60 FPS, looks like a dream. Since it's new gen, this card is future proof, which feels good. For my specific rig, I should have gone for the Palit "GamingPro" variant rather, and saved R1500, as it does not have RGB. My rig is under my desk with RGB switched off, so that was bit of a waste. The Woot team, was really great in building my first 'real deal' gaming rig and I'm super happy.
