- Gets the job done - Sam Green, 22 August 2025
For the price, it's hard to complain. Performance is solid, colors are vibrant, and while HDR varies depending on the game, it generally holds up.
The 300Hz refresh rate is phenomenal, and the MiniLED is good (Not earth shattering) panel delivers impressive visuals no major faults there. If you're after a monitor that’ll last a few years and aren't fussed about port variety, this one's a beast.
That said, the OSD is a weak point. Others have flagged it too, and I agree
it’s clunky. A single nipple-style control would solve the issue entirely. Hopefully, future revisions add that, along with one or two USB passthroughs. Still, for what I paid, it's a solid deal. - Honest Take - Unlckyu, 1 July 2025
I was a bit skeptical at first.
Stand feels solid, materials are good.
Cons:
Quality Control - Mine has 2 dark pixels, luckily on the edges of the screen so they aren't very noticeable, but still unfortunate, I ran the same test on my cheaper Dell screen with no dead pixels, so not sure if I lucked out on the Dell or just had bad luck with the wootvison. On gradients there is some banding, and a darkish tint on the edges of the screen.
Pro's:
Text is super clear (light and dark mode)
Brightness goes high enough for editing text documents during the day
Price is a obvious one
Ill update my review in a couple of weeks, but all in all not bad. Probably worth the money. Wootware has always had excellent after sales support, so it makes sense to take a chance on their product. - WootVision Pro 27Q M300 27 - Kevin, 27 June 2025
Getting a 300Hz 27" Mini-LED for this price is pretty amazing, so I was sceptical at first, especially because this Wootware version does not have any reviews online that I could find.
I am very glad that I took the risk, since the image quality is great and there were no defects like wierd tints or bad uniformity. The monitor even comes with a calibration report.
If you don't want to deal with the price and burn-in risk of an OLED but still want near OLED image quality made possible by the Mini-LED tech, this is the screen for you.
Also, I feel I must mention that I have been buying from Wootwar for years and they have always been helpfull and especially friendly.
- Buy it please :D - Michael, 9 June 2025
If you are looking for a gaming monitor upgrade, any of the 3 new WootVision M monitors have got your back. They get really bright, the colour is great, HDR is great, response time is great. The stand is STURDY, best I ever had. I hardly notice any wobble, and what there is mostly from my desk itself, I think. The way it is shaped, I can push my keyboard up under the screen when I need to work on the desk with books. It has customizable RGB on the back if you like that. The images don't capture how cool the brushed steel and carbon fibre decals on the back look in person. There are little labels on the back to help you see where the cables plug in. It's a feature you don't think about until its missing and you have to turn the screen upside down to plug in. This was so much easier.
Some may be disappointed that there is no nipple to adjust settings, there are 4 adjusting buttons and a power button. Honestly, they feel good to use and once you have set your HDR, FreeSync, response time profile and local dimming preferences, there is not much reason to tinker. Would have been nice if they put the OSD in bottom the right corner with a legend above each button. Most of the settings you will want to play with are in "Game+" and " Picture Settings". When using HDR, pretty much just Game+ has settings you can tweak.
I recommend using Microsoft's HDR calibration tool and then setting the SDR content brightness to ~62. There is a formula for optimal number I forgot.
This was my first display with local dimming. In games and movies it is AMAZING. In synthetic test like those black screens with white boxes moving on them it you will see a pretty large halo when using the High local dimming preset, but the rest of the screen is completely black. if you use Medium the Halo is SIGNIFICANTLY less visible but the whole screen is lit with black. but you don't buy a monitor like this to watch local dimming test all day, do you? It's not an OLED but is leagues better than a standard IPS screen and at this price it is putting the competition to shame.
Halo control feature is confusing, turning it up makes the halos much bigger, turning it down makes them smaller. I recommend leaving it on 0 with the HIGH local dimming setting.
I play a lot of OSU! and Minecraft which are really easy games to run well beyond the 300FPS this monitor can display and let me tell you... 300Hz is a game changer.
In other more demanding games, it still looks good with the 1440p resolution and local dimming carrying the image presentation to new heights. If you buy one of these, you are not going to need a new monitor till 4K OLEDS get more affordable to purchase and actually run at high FPS. My friend uses a 4k LG UltraGear and he was impressed by this too.
The model I initially received had a strange grainy defect in one corner. Wootware confirmed it was not right and sent me a replacement unit and it is absolutely flawless. 11/10 customer service! you have my customer loyalty :D
++Last Bonus++ when you turn on the screen there is the Wootware smiley face winking at you while it powers up for a second, I love it! - Honestly blown away - Brendan, 28 May 2025
Didn't really think a monitor would change my experience so much, but wow! Coming from a 144Hz, 1080p Asus panel with fairly accurate colour calibration. This panel from Wootware is just on another level, colour calibration report comes in the box, and the numbers are truly professional grade, just make sure to enable HDR in Windows settings to get rid of the oversaturation. Motion performance is amazing, thanks to the 300Hz and good pixel response times, brightness is an eye-searing 1000 nits peak, with HDR* and just looks amazing, that working with over a thousand local dimming zones is something to see. I didn't expect my experience to be this much better with just a monitor, but when looking at the specs of this thing, it makes sense. These specs at this price just don't exist anywhere else. Please buy this monitor if you are considering 1440p and it falls in your budget, it would destroy ANY other monitor at this price point for sure, not even mentioning other mini-LED, high refresh 1440p panels that would cost way more than this.
- No decernable flaws - Anthony, 10 May 2025
Pictures is great, resolution is great, HDR works well. Nothing comes close to this price. I've compared it directly to an OLED and I cannot fault it. Plus, no burn-in to worry about. Would highly recommend.
- Good monitor for HDR content - W, 7 May 2025
Mini-LED backlight makes HDR content really pop, bright highlights look amazing, awesome contrast for darker scenes.
300hz feels silky smooth.
Monitor comes with a calibration report in the box.
Nothing else that comes close at this price, this is an awesome option for those who want true HDR but don't want to break the bank by spending double on an OLED. - The Only Mini LED monitor that is worth it in SA (1 week in) - Willon, 5 May 2025
Fairly good monitor. Much better than normal IPS. its a nice balance between IPS and OLED. still good for desktop use, and you get abit of that OLED blacks and colours with the HDR and local diming functions for gaming and media. (I went from 1080p 60Hz to 1440p 300Hz LOL)
- Amazing Product - Tina, 27 April 2025
Its a fast and crazy beautiful screen that's worth every penny
