PC Assembly, Stress-testing and Windows Installation - Windows license not included

I have to thank Wootware for the professionalism when it comes to hardware building and shipping. Cable management is neat and tidy, Build requests followed exactly. A checklist received in the box where you can see a quality check was done. Desktop also packed extremely well to make sure no damage is taken during the shipping process.

Wootware built and delivered my PC a week earlier than originally stated, even though this order was placed during a week disrupted by public holidays.
I was kept informed of the progress throughout the build process

The feature of having the pc compatible filters helped majorly because for me I’m into tech but not really enough to build my own from scratch without help. I also sent a few messages on best possible builds and all that and well they responded reasonably fast as well. Let me say this, I would definitely use them again because every email I sent was answered and the method to actually build my pc was so good and clean especially with compatibility. These people know their stuff and their prices are very attractive so I would say all and all this is my go to place. Something

I've been a Wootware customer for over a decade now and haven't been disappointed once. This year was my very first time using their "PC Assembly, Stress-testing and Windows Installation" service. Decided to comment on multiple things below:

The Staff and communication:
- I was very pleased with how flexible they were as I was able to bring my own PC case and midway through the process ask for minor changes and they were happy to make them.
- The email responses were quick, friendly and professional

Shipping:
- The PC arrived sooner than expected
- The PC was fully secured and bubble wrapped inside to prevent components from moving during transport
- In addition to the PC, they also shipped the individual component boxes(CPU,GPU,Motherboard etc) with their cables and any extra spares inside the boxes all in good condition

The PC:
- Since this was my first time using this service I honestly didn't know what to expect but man was I excited when seeing this beast
- The cable management was beautiful and cleanly done
- Since they knew I was going to activate Windows 11, they created a local user account to avoid clashing with my main user when setting up my windows which I think was very thoughtful. They used this local account to install various drivers and software required. Nothing much was needed from me regarding the drivers, I could just remove their local setup account and all was good
- BIOS was updated and RAM profile was updated to use expo. RAM was also installed correctly making use of dual channel(very easy to mess this up)

TLDR version: PC build service was excellent without issues. Wootware never seems to dissapoint so if you are looking for quick, friendly and consistent services then I highly recommend this company

Then, when I received the delivery, everything was packaged with such care. Very professional and refreshing!
And the best part... PLUG AND PLAY! I plugged in everything, switched it on, and was ready to go. All updates were done, bloatware removed, test done, etc.
The physical assembly was also executed perfectly... Great experience from start to finish!

Overall the custom built desk top computer performs as expected given the excellent components selected for the build. It handles the video editing suite davinci resolve superbly. The system is responsive and efficient. Demanding tasks are seamless in their execution. Superb build thanks to Joshua Roods guidance regards components and Adrians skills in putting the system together.

Fantastic after sales service, and neat work.
The only caveat is the cable management - the guys use cable ties extensively to keep it neat, which makes rearranging your components a bit difficult, but this is not a significant problem.

I got Wootware to build my new PC for me because I'm lazy. It arrived safely packaged and worked flawlessly. All bios configurations were done correctly and they made sure that all my RGB components were sync'd. Would definitely use this service again in the future and recommend to others.

Overall, the build turned out great — but there were some concerning issues:
-Exhaust 120mm fans were connected to the CPU pump header.
This made the system sound like a leaf blower until I rewired the fans properly. Obvious mistake, especially if someone made it to windows in idle — it's incredibly loud and easy to pick up on.
-1x Bottom intake fan was completely disconnected and not fully screwed in
It looks like the fan was hitting the bottom of the case, so the builder just left it loose and unplugged. - I replaced with a different fan and wired up.
-Missing screw for the front glass panel.

-Great cable management, BIOS setup correctly for the RAM.
-Packaging almost perfect, internals were well protected inside the case. Only needed a second outer box for safer shipping, but nothing was damaged.
-Temps are running good so I presume thermal paste application is good.

I’m happy with how the build turned out performance-wise, but the small issues show a lack of final quality control.
If I didn’t have experience working on PCs, this could’ve been a frustrating experience — between the loud exhaust fans and the disconnected bottom fan, a typical user might’ve assumed the system had issues and returned it.

Great hardware, solid execution in some areas, but the small oversights took away from an otherwise premium build.

The Computer came assembled well with all components placed in the bast way possible and cable management is excellent. Received all unused parts and all the boxes they came in.

The build that I got showed great professionalism from Wootware. After inspecting the build when I got the PC, I noticed that the cable management was really good. The Lian Li Lancool 207 chassis that I ordered was notorious for the little cable room it leaves for builders in the right-sided compartment, typically giving a little bulge to the panel, but the builders at Wootware really did their job incredibly. There is absolutely no bulge, and the cables are very well organised. Furthermore, all the different components I ordered were securely inserted into the motherboard; everything worked straight out of the box. I have had no need to tinker inside the chassis yet after nearly two weeks of ownership.

I also have no clue what sort of intense testing my PC had to go through when they tested it. I did a few of my own hardware tests, such as using Cinebench, and the temperatures I was getting were far lower than the "Under Load" temperatures that were listed on the components. But in the end, everything works fantastically.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend others to allow Wootware to build and test their PC.

I was honestly so surprised by how good the cable management is. Not sure if if was the because of the case but hot dam I was impressed. Also impressed by the paper report of the testing included with your pc very nice touch. Happy I spent extra moeny for the assembly

I personally asked for Windows 10, instead I got windows 11. I am happy with the state you have brought it through me though, windows 11 is a massive improvement and I am absolutely satisfied with all the updated and installed drivers I had requested I'll definitely be using your services more in future and recommending it to others.

No Major issues as of yet, everything is working wonderfully. Any small issue I had has been dealt with by your wonderful support team. Only thing is that I'm still waiting for the new Intel supply of Assassins Creed Shadows keys to arrive in order to receive one. Other then that, I'm loving it

This custom PC build was my first purchase from Wootware and was based on an enthusiastic word-of-mouth recommendation. Tried Evetech for some time and got no replies, Wootware was fast and even have the time to go back and forth with recommendations and support for first time builders. Needed something capable of video editing, graphic design and some gaming and they came through with the best parts for the job. Their only issue was not having Fractal Cases on hand, but their work around that has been amazing with great support. Excellent packaging that keeps the PC and all components safely secured during transporting, and they send in all the boxes of the parts used as well which can be handy as some may have competitions or software codes you can redeem when you register the product with the information, not to mention that there are also manuals for those who still reads them. I recommend the customer support and their service, they are a reputable and professional service provider and store that makes sure everything is working and their clean cable management allows you to see where everything goes in case you need to upgrade later. The PC is basically plug & play when you receive it. The whole customer/user journey from using PC builder to pick parts, them building and testing to shipping and still supporting when you follow up with concerns has been amazing and smooth.

The PC came done and ready to use perfectly in new perfect condition I was infact in doubt that no one had done anything with it but it was all built and securely wrapped as well to the point you couldn't see if it was built or not so damage was almost impossible I loved the service from wootware and would 1000% use them again

It is as says well build cable management is amazing and Wood ware installed windows its plug and play how ever i would just love if they installed the pallet graphics card thundermaster if im correct. Other Wise i would recommend yo just leave it to them to build

Highly recommend! Ended up having a number of my build parts replaced due to damaged stock and mismatched selections on my part. Yet thanks to Wootware's constant feedback and insightful suggestions I ended up with a better product than I'd initially ordered - for slightly cheaper too!

As much as I wanted to be part of the build, having the team at Wootware put together the PC and stress test it, was really useful for me, as I could just unpack it, plug in and get straight into things. It was packaged well and they give an evalution print out, which is great to see what was tested.

Ordered a 4080 Super + Ryzen 7700x build. The pc was build perfectly. So glad I decided to pay a little bit extra for these guys to build it for me. Everything was done perfectly, it looks like a showcase Pc. Extremely neatly done. All the drivers was updated by them and Expo on the ram configured. Zero bloatware on the PC. Can not recommend this service enough. The technicians are true professionals that care about every detail.

wootware has never before failed to impress me in more than a decade of purchases - it's hard to tell exactly how long as i used an old email address in the early days. quality service, good prices and now an excellent PC builder on the website make wootware a no-brainer.

however, the assembly and windows installation this time around was... okay. there was one major issue, and a few minor ones. to be clear: the PC runs smoothly and looks great. most people would have no gripe with it (apart from maybe if they stumbled across the major issue below).

positive 1
the cable management was a superb 9.5/10. only a psycho perfectionist prepared to sit for hours gently carressing the insides of their rig could have done better. neat, tidy, with a good number of cable ties. not too many, which makes adding more cables or moving cables at a later stage a real chore (see below).

positive 2
the extra fans i ordered were where i requested them to be: one installed in my preffered spot, and the other not installed (i am making a custom mount for it). my anti bending backplate was installed as well (not a given with some other vendors - just ask an acquaintance of mine).

positive 3:
the packaging was good, with plenty of bubble wrap for the GPU and all my opened boxes with their unused screws and whatnot were packaged as well.

major issue:
i had an issue when restarting from windows, where the boot process would hang on the DRAM check (thank you modern motherboards for diagnostic lights); i would need to hard power down the PC with a long-press power button, then enter the failed restart BIOS, and then exit BIOS for it to post. this behaviour did not occur after a shutdown and manually turning the PC back on with the power button - only after a restart. i had to reset the BIOS to defaults, reenable XMP and i forget what exactly the third thing was, before the problem ironed itself out. a less tech-savvy individual would have struggled, or maybe not even have noticed (in my experience, most people hardly ever restart). indeed, due to not wanting to go through a return process, after struggling for an hour or two i was tempted just to live with always shutting down and manually turning the PC back on instead of restarting. i am glad i persevered long enough to solve the issue.

minor issue 1:
i had asked in the live chat (super quick and friendly service, by the way) for armoury crate not to be installed along with windows, as i would be using openRGB instead. i was confidently informed that my request would be noted. i know that armoury crate is tricky *not* to install (it needs to be disabled in BIOS or it will auto-install), but i was disappointed to see it installed after having requested for it not be (i know the request process works to a degree due to my fan requests being adhered to). to wootware's credit, there was no bloatware installed and i noticed 7zip and VLC installed, which was nice.

minor issue 2:
i was disappointed to find all my fan RGBs installed into one ARGB header on the board. with three headers on the board, using more to allow for greater control over my 4 RGB fans is almost a no-brainer. as things stand, i am still gathering the strength to redo the cabling to utilise the other headers. it doesn't help that the header which was used is the one all the way at the bottom of the board and not one of the two headers in the top right corner. why on earth the front fans were cabled all the way to the far side of the board in the first place istead of to the two adjacent headers, closer to the fans, is beyond me. there is a lot of cable moving involved here.

(very) minor issue 3:
the time of delivery was the MAX time quoted. indeed, the order was only dispatched just before CoB on the deadline date that was given. i am left wondering whether the issues i experienced were not a result of a rush at the end. i had been informed 12 days prior that all the parts had arrived at wootware and that my PC was in the queue for assembly; there is a niggling doubt in my mind that the major issue might have been what caused the holdup. this is perhaps unfair, as it is conjecture, but it is hard not to *feel* that way.

(very) minor issue 4:
since the PC was stress tested (and presumably benchmarked to check for expected performance), it would have been nice to receive a little card/certificate thingy saying "congrats on your new rig. your [abridged specs] PC clocked impressive 3Dmark and cinebench scores of over 9000" (obviously, the actual scores) that i could print and frame so that my wife could roll her eyes at me and my nerd friends could drool over. at the very least, benchmark scores could have been listed on the build checklist. i ordered a premium build and the plain-paper boring checklist didn't make it feel premium. just a list with hurried ticks and untidy figures, with a printed name (not personally signed by by the builder) and no personal message. there was also an "all photos uploaded" line item marked as yes... i have no idea what photos these are or where they are; i have received no email with photos nor any other indication that photos were even supposed to exist. maybe in a future world they could even be printed on the card i mentioned above. i have ordered premium products elsewhere before (even as far back as the early 2000s) and received a far better premium presentation than what i got from wootware here.

(very) minor issue 5:
the box with all the unused screws packed in had not been closed well enough and i had to fish around the packaging to find them.

however, none of this changes the fact that i still remain a loyal customer who will continue to recommend wootware to anyone looking to buy anything PC related. i just felt a little let down due to my many previous excellent interactions (including a build service).

I had been meaning to replace my 7-year-old video editing PC for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. I chose Wootware after reading some reviews about them on Reddit and am so glad I did. Joshua gave me fantastic assistance in helping me finalise my components and the build was delivered on time and exactly to my specifications.

The assembly was on point, and more than I could ask for. The sales person communicated very well to ensure that they route all the cables I could need.

Originally this is not a build I thought of myself. I have a windows vista from around 2010 that I thought I’d be able to upgrade with a new kit and graphics card but I spoke to a couple of people in IT and they said that wasn’t really possible so I found myself on YouTube looking and pc builds and then on https://www.hellopeter.com/wootware I found the best reviews so I used their pc builder. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Packaging - excellent, secure, protected. Cable management - excellent. All the bios and other updates - excellent. Not entirely the fault of Wootware - but did have some issues posting the first day due to well known AM5 issues. This was resolved by setting a fixed RAM FCLK ratio in BIOS instead of Auto. And the one SSD was not initialised. Otherwise highly recommended!

The service and advise from Wootware was excellent and they delivered well ahead of the initial ETA. Can recommend them any time.

Online support was great and warned me about compatibility problems when there were any. The delivery was well handled and well packaged (I have month supply of stress relieving bubble wrap now).
The build its self was amazing. Clean cable management. All fans were installed correctly. Overall just a great experience. (I can't wait to see if they remembered to remove the CPU cooler's sticker one day).

I received a rig in tip-top shape. Full marks for a neat build with proper cable management and sensible BIOS settings.
The bubble wrap (to protect the electronics) was a nice touch.

The first thing I did was run a suite of benchmarks and was blown away by the results. HWiNFO64 reported very decent temperatures and clock speeds.

- For people who don't have the time (to watch 100hrs of YouTube) or the technical expertise (gained through painful/or expensive experience) to build a "modern" pc (self-defeating contradiction).
- I'd advise doing a little research about generations/compatibility, using various online resources as provided.

Having a professional technical team build your PC is absolutely the way to go. Professional cable management aside, receiving a pre-buildt PC saves you the headache of BIOS and firmware updates that you might not even be aware of needing if you are not following current industry news and trends. I would recommend this option very strongly. It is a fantastic service especially for high-end power users. I have been very satisfied with all my assembled PC's from the Technical team.

Wootware did just a brilliant job in assembling my Gaming PC with the components I chose through their Web Site. The PC came with a document outlining an extensive list of tests the PC went through. The BIOS updates etc. were all done and Windows 11 was loaded and working 100%. The case looks great and all cables were neatly tied up up. I asked for the MB to be updates, ram,cpu and m.2 installed and updated if needed, then to add windows 11, with all updates. Items arrived, I simply had to build over in my setup. All ready to go, done perfectly. 0 issues, and all settings done as needed. Definitely recommenced

I write this review to comment on how well the Wootware team helped me with my build. Questions answered quickly, thoroughly and in a way most people (even Gran) would understand. Very good, helpful service that made it much easier for me to decide on my build. The build quality was also very good with some useful programs pre-installed.

Flawless, meticulous build and cable-management by the Wootware technical team

Done really well as a whole. Just would have liked the gpu support bracket to be installed as well, there is a considerable amount of gpu sag due to my gpu being heavy. so now i will have to install the bracket

I initially called Wootware to find out some basic information and Marcus was really friendly and super helpful. I placed an order that same day. When all the parts arrived there was a mistake in something I ordered and I got a call again from Marcus and within 15 minutes I'd chosen a new part and received credit for the difference.
