When it comes to building classroom type computers, you don't need a huge amount of bells and whistles. This motherboard has most of what you would need, though the lack of any onboard USB-C ports is a little disappointing considering that USB-C is no longer a niche connector. That being said, this is great entry level budget board that does everything a classroom needs basically. It even includes BIOS Flashback, which lets you flash the motherboard to support new CPU's without needing to do a complicated generational CPU swap 'n dance process.

We've used 6 of these motherboards in the school and they are reliable, stable and have that Asus edge to it - the UEFI is so much nicer than Gigabyte's offering and even the overall build quality and components just seem that much better. Compared to the Asus B650M-K, this board includes a DisplayPort output, which is about the only major difference but makes the extra few hundred Rands worth it in our opinion.
