A stunning monitor, great for work and equally good for play. USB hub is decent for extra ports and keeping the desk clean. But there's something funky with the power delivery on them, that won't always power on a webcam. Possibly specific to the webcam I'm using. All the dongles, I've plugged in the monitor's USB hub, has worked fine, though. Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync seems to work well. FYI, audio pass-through works fine. I find myself looking to swivel the screen from time to time. There is no swivel. Only height and tilt adjustment. Going back and forth between monitor arm and it's own stand, eventually settled on it's own stand. The cable management cutout is useful. Packaging is also great, as opposed to some rage inducing, Samsung monitor boxes out there.

So, mostly great experience, with one or two possible annoyances that can easily be worked around.

I am thoroughly happy with my purchase. The colours are excellent and the size is just perfect for my needs. The HDR is decent, but I suggest turning off the local dimming as that is quite poor.

As with all IPS panels, there is some IPS glow in the corners, but this is to be expected with this technology. I opted for this over QD-OLED knowing that this would be the price I would pay. I use my monitor for both work and play so there are often static images on screen for substantial periods. At this point I do not trust QD OLED so I opted for this monitor knowing I would need to pay the IPS glow tax XD.

All in all, excellent monitor, extremely happy. As always, phenomenal service from Wootware.

It performance is matched if not better than my previous ROG Strix XG27WQ 27inch which I had to RMA for alot of light bleed around the edges. So we will see how well this one stands over the next years to come. Ultra wide is just something else, definitely worth having in a productive desktop environment.

The screen is great, but the box was damage not sure if it was the courier people, also the courier guy through the box around were it states its fragile not happy

I have bought the monitor roughly 2 to 3 weeks ago and it has been an absolute immersed experience. Perfect image quality with HDR support. One of the best decision I have made.

Please check before you buy, that your processor is fast enough. I have ran in instances where I started to get stutters on my AM ryzen 1600x for rendering at the ultra wide resolution when playing games. I would recommend getting ryzen 5 (or better) 3rd gen atleast or an intel 8th gen (i5 or better)

This monitor is absolutely stunning. I'm generally not too fond of curved monitors because they mess with perspective when you're working in programs like Photoshop or Blender, but the curve on this one is gentle and doesn't affect your perspective.

Colour accuracy is phenomenal and the brightness is right up there. Viewing angles on the IPS panel are practically perfect, as you'd expect, and I had absolutely no trouble getting it to run at 180 Hz on Windows 11.

The UWQHD format gives you an amazing amount of screen space for programming or creative work and text is super crisp. The monitor is well-packed and protected in its box, although I did find the supplied HDMI and DisplayPort cables to be a slight bit short for my liking - an additional 30cm or so would have been nice, but I had longer ones already so it wasn't much of an issue.

The stand takes up quite a bit of space so smaller desks may benefit from a monitor arm, but it is a solid, well-built stand with hardly any wobble to it and a nice amount of height adjustment. The RGB lighting isn't really for me, but you can turn it off or control it with LG's software as long as you have the provided USB cable connected.

It's a great monitor and the FPS impact wasn't too high coming from a 2560 x 1080 ultrawide, although some tweaking was necessary :) Sure, it's probably overkill, but I'll take this over a 4K monitor any day.

It's an absolute thing of beauty, well worth the price in my opinion. Lastly, Wootware is always on top of their game - quick delivery, zero issues, excellent pricing and fantastic service every time.

My 27” 1440P monitor did not offer me the immersion I was looking for. I needed something bigger. Gaming environments started to feel restricted and constrained. So I borrowed and tested a 32” and a 34” 1440P monitor before making a purchase decision. The 32” monitor was too big for my desk (700mm depth). Its 1440P resolution was also not as sharp as on my 27” panel, and I disliked having to move my head and mouse so much vertically. Enter the 34”. The 34” and the 27” panels share the same vertical height, so no loss in picture quality and the vertical headroom is the same. The 34” only adds 33% more desktop space on the sides. At first I was concerned about certain games and content being viewed in 16:9 format with black bars being a distraction, but surprisingly it did not bother me at all. I absolutely fell in love with the immersion of running games in ultrawide resolution. The additional 33% horizontal space means that games will now fill your entire peripheral vision. Thus my mind was made up. Next stop: IPS vs OLED. OLED is the new kid on the block and is clearly better for gaming but concerns regarding text clarity and burn-in made me extremely cautious. I decided to play it safe and buy a tried and tested IPS monitor. After doing some research, I concluded that the LG 34GP950G is currently the best 34” 1440P IPS monitor on the market. And it does not disappoint! It comes with a G-Sync Ultimate module and no cooling fan that I can tell. AMD’s FreeSync Premium works as well. The monitor runs natively at 144Hz and can be overclocked to 180Hz. I discovered that the monitor can be run with 10-bit colour at 144Hz but only 8-bit colour at 180Hz. I run my monitor at 144Hz and 10-bit colour. In the nVidia Control Panel I enable G-Sync for fullscreen, limit my frame rate to 140 FPS and enable Vertical Sync for best results. Other than that the monitor has near perfect SDR colour calibration out of the box and offers smooth and responsive gameplay. The monitor also includes a local dimming feature that really works. On a final note, I need to mention that the RGB lighting at the back of the monitor, which can be disabled, is some of the brightest I have ever seen. This is truly an exceptional monitor and one of the best purchase decisions I have made in many years.
